My good friend Noah released his binder drafting and sewing tutorial this week! He doesn’t have a Tumblr, so I said I would post it for him.
“This digital drafting tutorial guides you to create a custom chest binder based on your own measurements. The easy to follow tutorial includes instructions for how to create a crop top length binder with several style and finishing options. The two binder styles addressed in the tutorial are most similar in fit to Underworks and GC2B binders. An add-on for full length binders will become available in the future.”
It’s taken him over a year to design this tutorial, and it’s really thoughtfully written. The tutorial requires some knowledge of sewing stretch knits, but I think it’s doable if you have never drafted before. It’s on sale for the month of April for $10 usd, and then will go up to $15.

i am very stressed and exhausted (as i have been since like, 2014) but universal standard jeans now go up to a women’s 40.
yes, they’re expensive, but they are really good quality, well-fitting, comfortable jeans that are actually made for fat bodies. they also do denim drives a few times a year where you send them two pairs of ill-fitting jeans and you get a pair of jeans for FREE (well for $10 shipping). that’s how i happen to own two pairs of $90 jeans. haha.
the brand has had their problems, like introducing size 0 before size 32, and using smaller models to represent larger sizes as a marketing ploy (like using katanafatale as their size 30 model when she wears several sizes smaller), but it looks like they actually made good on their promise to introduce larger sizes.

yo guys if you live in the US and use regular absorbency U by kotex sleek tampons please throw them away. they’re currently under recall in america because they’re coming apart in people and leaving pieces which puts you at a huge risk for toxic shock syndrome.
im gonna go ahead and plug the diva cup right now which i live and breathe by. i’ve never had any issues with it and i’m totally open to talking about it!

sharing this because a lot of fat people and people with disabilities use the U by kotex because the longer applicators/applicator shapes are good for fat bodies and people with particular disabilities. it’s just the regular absorbency, not the others.

This is my cat Percy. He has a tumor between his eyes, which is pressing on his eye and making him sneeze blood. It’s going to cost $1000 to put a scope up his nose and get an x-ray to find out what kind it is, and see if it can be treated. Then there will be the cost of treating whatever it is, if it can be treated.
Percy is around 13 or so - we don’t know for sure because he was an outside cat for several years before my dad found him - but I don’t think he was ever feral. He is one of the sweetest cats I’ve ever met. All he wants is hugs, headbutts, and tummy rubs. From anyone he meets. He loves his kitty brother and tolerates his little kitty sister and little ferret sister.
I am deep in debt and can’t even afford to put this cost on a credit card right now. I’m hoping to raise at least enough so that I can put the rest on a card. It’s not ideal, but I can’t leave him like this.

hi tumblr! it’s my birthday month and i currently have $7 to my name, so my gift to myself is the vulnerability to ask for help.
i’m a broke trans woman whose already low wages are being heavily garnished by the government for student loans, which has made it legitimately impossible for me to pay rent without assistance for months. this month i have no idea how i’m gonna do it, let alone feed myself and get myself to work.
when my grandmother died in late august, i couldn’t afford to go home for the service. i don’t have toothpaste. i’m relying on the hospitality and generosity of my best friends for everything right now, and i’m embarrassed.
if you can help it would mean a lot to me, and if you can’t or you’re tired of helping sad broke trans women, it’s cool. sorry, i love you.
