I can’t even begin to put into words how devastated I am over the results of the vote on whether or not the UK carry out airstrikes on Syria. I have never been particularly proud to be British, but never in my life have I ever been more ashamed of my country than I am right now.

Our government has decided, with a majority of over 170, that the UK will bomb Syria.

The MP’s then had the audacity to laugh and cheer after voting to murder people.

I wish there was something I could say or do to change this, to protect the people of Syria who’s lives and homes will be destroyed, the people who will die in a war that they want no part in, but there’s nothing I can say or do that will make this okay.

All I can say is that I am sorry. I am so, so sorry. I assure you that the vast majority of the public do not want this, and that there have been huge protests over the past week or so to try and change people’s minds. Unfortunately we have no say in what our government chooses to do.

My thoughts and prayers are with the people of Syria, I can only hope that you will all be safe.

EDIT*** The target is ISIS/ISIL/IS/whatever you choose to call it. Unfortunately it will be the innocent civilians who are going to suffer. My government sees people as collateral damage.

You think the innocent people of Syria arent suffering right now? Look up some of the atrocities committed by ISIS and tell me the Syrian people are happy to live under them. Look at how thousands of migrants are fleeing their tyrannical rule in to Europe. Not to mention it is a breeding ground for extremism run by a group of jihadists who despise the west and are committed to the destruction of all societies that don't conform to their twisted ideals.

We're going in after the UN passed s resolution urging action. Bombing won't solve the problems, its far too complicated for a solution to be that simple, but its probably the best course of action open to us.

Is the UK expansion pack good/worth it? It's our new fave game!

Isn’t it such a good game! I haven’t actually played it yet, just had a look, but looks like it comes with 2 new games basically, you need America or Europe as it has no trains but each board in the expansion has it’s own new set of rules and cards and whatnot so hopefully is good! Looks a tad complicated but should be fun hopefully! :)

With different maps they all play differently. Some are designed for fewer players so you end up with tighter games, I’ve heard good things about Nordic Countries (2-3 players), Switzerland (2-3) and Africa (2-4) but they can be a bit more ‘mean’ as its tighter and easier to block peoples routes. Apparently Europe is one of the friendliest maps, for the smaller player counts I think Switzerland is the friendliest but I’ve not played it.

UK seems like a totally different kind game from what I’ve seen with technologies that open up the board for you. I’m very keen to play it.

Honestly, as a robotkin, I feel really upset every time I have to do the captcha to say that I'm not one, I feel invalidated. I /am/ a robot, and I don't like admitting that I'm not one. It really shorts my circuit board
