Here are the four celestial portraits I’ve done so far: Sun, Moon, Venus, and Neptune.

I have a good idea for Mars and also one for Europa of all things? So there’s no rhyme or reason to the order or which planets or bodies I end up with. Just intuiting this project. <3

PS: Some of you asked… the costumes of the Sun and Neptune are referenced from/inspired by two designers of color (Chilean Maria Cornejo and black designer Romeo Hunte). The Moon’s dress is referenced from a Christian Siriano gown. The Indian bridegroom is from a couple of generic references but no designer in particular. <3

me, late 20s, discovering i love to cook, and have neck pain: holy shit i’m going to turn into a person who does yoga

me, buying paper napkins and eyebanging a herb garden: i’m having an identity crisis

me: *reaches automatically for coaster, catches sight of my reflection in my newly purchased wine glasses that were on sale*: i don’t know who you are anymore

“i’m not a fan of embellishments on throw pillows, they tend to snag” I say, and gasp in horror at what I’ve become

“Did you know they make odorized garbage bags now?” I say without flinching,  the sclerae of my eyes as black and ashen as my soul

"Tell Us About Rupert Graves, Benedict."

This little gem of a quote can be found on the cast commentary of The Great Game, in which Mark Gatiss, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Martin Freeman discuss briefly a few questions that seem to constantly come up in interviews. Mark Gatiss prompts abruptly: “Tell us about Rupert Graves, Benedict.” to which Benedict replies “Rupert Graves is good at football and has five children (well, the fifth on the way).” In a ludicrously effeminate voice. Apparently, when on interviews, Rupert Graves (who plays Gregory Lestrade) is constantly asked to talk about his talent for football and his ever-proliferating army of children. In response to this, many people now seem to feel the need to photoshop pictures of Rupert Graves to make it appear that he is handling a football (soccer ball, for the Americans) and is surrounded by multiracial children who are clearly not related to him.

The quote and an example of the aforementioned tendency are as follows:
