after thiessa and genelieth comes another member of the empire, sith lord quaithe.

bio: born as the product of a one-off moment of comfort between two slaves working on dromund kaas, quaithe was discovered to be force sensitive by their sith lord master when she killed his son with a well-placed burst of lightning. he was delighted; the boy was seeking to murder him for a chance at his power base and he assumed his dutiful slave had protected him. she hadn’t: quaithe had come across her abilities two years before and trained herself to the point where she could take out the disgusting little boy. regardless, lord tyriost sent her to korriban to train, as a “reward”. way he figured it, she’d succeed and her power would serve him, or she’d fail and die. win-win.

quaithe thrived on korriban and thrived even more when she was finally recognised as sith. she had grown up with the sith philosophy around her, and despite the harm one would think it caused her as a slave, she had taken it to heart. the weak or stupid were always going to be dominated by the powerful or clever. and she was both. through victory, my chains are broken. the force shall free me. and it did.

now, she is darth nox, member of the dark council overseeing the preservation and reclamation of sith knowledge and history, and ambitious for more.

I found a fantastic swtor oc meme here and since i’m in swtor hell and in love with my kids, wanted to try it on them, with jedi consular thiessa first.

bio: discovered to have a strong bond to the force at age 5 and raised on tython by the jedi order since then, thiessa cordac became the very picture of an average - and almost entirely unremarkable - padawan. what did stand out to her early masters was a willingness to learn - and a tendency to question their teachings in ways that never struck them as overly threatening, but in need of attention all the same. masters syo bakarn and yuon par took an interest in the girl as she grew older, seeing someone who just needed to be convinced of the jedi code’s applicability. master syo took over her combat training, and yuon took her on as her padawan to hopefully guide her desire to learn towards productive research pursuits and hone her connection to the light side of the force.

her training took a unique turn when yuon was struck down by a mystery illness. suddenly launched into the galaxy alone but with the apparent company of her masters’ omnipresent expectations, thiessa found herself having to comfort her long discomfort with the dogmatic approach to jedi code, leading to some difficult questions about herself and her role in the jedi order. but things have a tendency work out in strange ways: despite accepting that she’ll never be the model jedi (and not wanting to be), she became a jedi master to a young padawan, barsen’thor of the order, and was even offered a position on the jedi council. but in the end, she’s happiest when she’s just thiessa, or “tee”.
