     ”Why do you give a damn about the floors? Carry the damn body over your shoulders! I don’t understand why there’s a corpse in here in the first place. Did you do all of this?”

      "—We can discuss my lack of tact while we're carrying the body. Pardon me, though, if I find it a little difficult to believe that a little 'please' and 'thank you' would be all it took for me to convince you to haul a corpse around with me."

                     "Again, I reiterate, the floors are freshly waxed. All of these things are topics we can discuss while we're carrying the body."

K L A U S

      "—Well, clearly. But I wasn't asking."

                        "It just seems that there's a bit a conflict between my efficiently moving the body, and keeping the entrails inside at the same time. Hence, where you can be of assistance."

                         ”Do I get a reward for helping?”

        "If you consider my not hauling your lifeless body away atop the corpse I am currently occupied with as sufficient motivation and reward, then, yes."

He bristled upon the reminder that his marriage had yet to be consummated, much less produce any children. Yet, he knew Genevieve meant no harm, for she did not know that he had found difficulty in finding an appropriate time to approach the subject with his wife. Determined to steer the conversation away from himself and his lack of productivity, he said, "With any luck, he will inherit his father's morality and his mother's grace."

Oh uh— that seat’s taken.

      "—Well, then, I suppose I'll just be keeping it warm until its rightful owner makes an appearance."

                  { Blatantly ignoring basic social etiquette (and the fact that his task could be completed just as easily if he had foregone the pleasantries), he settled in across from her, a glass of whiskey in hand. }

        "You seem familiar, which leads me to believe we've met before, though you may not remember. In which case, it's your pleasure to make my acquaintance. You can call me Klaus."

    “I think your strong enough to handle this one on your own.”

        "—My apologies, did my sarcasm lead you to believe that I had posed a question? Because I hadn't intended on giving you a choice."

                       "Now, I'm trying not to drip blood on the floors. So, if you could get the feet so I'm not dragging this damned corpse along the recently waxed tile, I can bear the brunt of the weight."

"Can I help you?"

     { The glance he spares is condescending, borderline offensive. }

                         "—I'd rather you not."

This account is turning a year old on the 29th of January which is kind of freaky to me if we’re being honest. A year ago I had no idea what the fuck I was doing in the slightest and I was pretty much just flailing around gracelessly without rhyme or reason. And now.. I’m still flailing about gracelessly, but.. at least I’ve made friends and had a truly magical year in the process, right? Anyway, onto the good stuff. No rules, don’t you remember? No rules.

So… I didn’t think I would ever do one of these, because they make me super anxious. I try really hard to be positive and supportive of everyone and follow forevers make me think of favoritism and I don’t like that and I just…

Everyone following me (minus people who have been inactive on their blogs for weeks) has been included in this. I love you all and I really appreciate each and every one of you for putting up with my crazy self. Some of you have stuck with me for a long time, through crazy long hiatus’, blog moves and overall just… random Lia times. That fact really means the world to me. I sincerely hope that I continue to grow friendships on here, and that over the course of the next year I get better acquainted with those of you that I am not familiar with. <3<3<3
