If you don't think, then you shouldn't talk.

If you don't care for tea, you could at least make polite conversation!

It would fare the hare reckless to attempt         to match a Cheshire’s grin, regardless if it         was an impulse to expanse one’s lips. Not         so gradually after does an iconic smirk of         his own slither across his facets. “Does it         matter? I’ll be sure to show off my assets         in either length. Not many men can hold it         down, disregarding the taste as a factor         why. Haven’t you heard of playing fair, Hare?”

image

And just as the oh so well known smirk took         it's place on Cheshire's lips the hare gave a          light jump on his sit. Wether it was excitement or         fear was unclear even for him, but it didn't         really mattered. "I'm sure you will. Although I'm         not quite sure about the amount of assets you         posses… So you're not only attempting to poison         me, but you're giving me one without good flavor?         Please Chesh… In all honesty— No. Doesn't it have         something to do with rules?"

Late for Tea Again? – March Hare & Alice

Alice walks through the rose gardens, arm in arm with Lorina. A small patch of white roses catch her eyes, the corners of her lips twitching upwards as whimsy crosses her mind, which she eagerly follows into the depths of her memories.

The roses shouldn’t be such, no. They ought to be red. The Queen will have their heads if she finds out about this. Even if no one really gets executed in Wonderland because the King pardons everyone without the Queen knowing.

"So, have you given any thought as to when you want to finish arrangements for your wedding, Alice?"

Alice lets out a small sigh, almost letting her head fall back at having her reverie broken. However, to let her head fall back in such a manner would be rude and improper to a simple question that her sister posed. At least her thoughts are far more entertaining instead of talking about wedding plans with her older sister, which had grown very tiring after the first few minutes or so.

I ought to be playing croquet with the Queen to-day. Oh how I wish that Wonderland was indeed a real place instead of a lovely dream. Then I might be far away from what I ought to do out of loyalty to my family.

However, she politely responds to Lorina’s question.

"Lorina, Edith will be getting married next year. I do not want to draw attention away from a very important day in her life."

Yes, that most certainly sounds more reasonable instead of saying I do not wish to get married. No, that would not do at all. Not with mother so looking forward to having grandchildren. I don’t even care to think of having grandchildren yet…

"Nonsense. I’m certain Edith would be more than happy to share."

I can’t imagine Edith being terribly pleased about having our weddings so close together.

Lorina is about to speak again, when she sees a group of her friends turn the corner, who immediately notice her and approach.

"Miss Liddell, what a pleasant surprise!"

A young brunette addresses the elder sister and Alice uses this as the opportune moment to sneak away. She always felt terribly uncomfortable when the subject at hand was her upcoming wedding. Truth be told, she didn’t have any pressing need to be married, even if that was the only purpose for a lady of good breeding like herself.

She let’s out a sigh, talking out loud to herself as she wanders deeper into the gardens.

I don’t wish to be married, not yet in the least. Mr. Hargreaves is pleasant enough, however he doesn’t seem to respect that I wish to do more travel–

Her thoughts out loud are interrupted when a most curious sight meets her eyes. In the middle of a grassy patch in the garden a man is sitting down, and having tea, of all things.

Curiouser and curiouser…

She breathes the words aloud, before thinking to herself, “Come now, Alice, that’s hardly proper English.” She can’t help staring at the peculiar and curious man, and is also unable to help but take a few steps towards him. After a moment, she furrows her brow, and pinches herself lightly.

Am I dreaming again? What manner of man would be completely unafraid to have a tea party in the middle of a public rose garden instead of in the privacy of a friend’s home?

How wonderfully peculiar this is…

In all honesty, he couldn't remember how he had found himself on that place, and the hare didn't really questioned it. His chase to find a way back home had drove him into changing places every once in a while, and today seemed like one of those days.

Silent hums of his well known song where the only thing he had been paying attention to. That and the familiarity that the garden provided to his memories and that quickly managed to form a smile on his lips. With slow, yet hard movements the hare began to set up cups, gracefully set in line as if he expected someone to join him for tea.

It was part of his own little tradition, if he wasn't able to go back to Wonderland, he was hoping Wonderland would come back to him. And there was also that deep hope buried beneath that if he set up the table just as always, the hatter and the dormouse would suddenly arrive, but even he knew it was far too much to ask.

However that didn't stopped him from doing it every single day, and as always he found himself doing it today as well. Just as he silently ignored the words of the other's who managed to passed by his spot, they weren't the first ones, and he was sure they wouldn't be the last ones.

Oh but what did managed to catch his attention were the loud words that came from the blonde female. A light smile spread through his lips as he looked at her up and down.

"Are you here for tea?"

"Unless you want me to strip, I don’t have jack shit for you."

"Not even a present? You come here giving threats, on tea time and you don't even bring a present? That's rude.."

It was a foolhardy man’s attempt to try and          phase the Cheshire. He had resided in their          lands, he had fared their beasts, and a glare          from a b u n n y was not going to startle him.          ”Shame I forgot my frilly dress back at my flat.          Seems to be that I cannot fill that role at the          moment, not unless you have one I can borrow.          I don’t think you would savor that all that well          March, who knows if you can handle arsenic          or not —— and it is vise versa. You are under          obligation to serve I, the guest.”

And there went a wide smile into the Hare's lips,           he certainly enjoyed the sarcastic remarks. "I'm           pretty sure I could get you one. What's your size?           Arsenic huh? I've heard it isn't that tasty, it would be           a waste of tea if you placed it in it. No, I'm really not.           It's my place, and we play by my rules."

Lips purse and with the arch of his brows,          a simplistic glance is held by the cant of          his head. “That is not highly shocking. Do          I appear to be a house maid? Though much          has changed it is not as extreme as that.”

Image

Narrowed eyes, letting out a soft glare,        and then he simply shrugged. "Well.. In fact,         you do look like a house maid to me. But even        if you didn't you should prepare me my tea,        you're the guest after all."
