I've Come to Seek My Destiny | Closed
§— “—- yeah, but you’re not my boss. he’s a stickler as is when it comes to how we act.”
she blows an amused
breath out from her nose, a smirk creeping its way onto her lips. appearances are what count at the tiny little diner, even if she’s not really one to care what others see in her. it’s really what she sees in them.
she’s finished now
with the two bowls of her homemade salad — the fruit in there is going to taste good once they actually sit down & eat. she’s getting hungrier by the minute, but before she takes them over to the island { it’s only two feet away from them anyways }, she takes another moment to direct her smirk & glinting eyes towards him. delicately, she hip checks him before picking the bowls up & turning around to set them on the island.
§— “—- yeah, i think i do too. glad you agree.”
"Well, I don't mind how you act if that makes you feel any better," said Andreas with a grin in Destiny's direction. "It sounds like your boss needs to lighten up a little bit, if you ask me."
Watching as Destiny moved to set the food she'd prepared on the island in the middle of the kitchen, Andreas couldn't help but find himself smirking at her response to his teasing comment.
Once she'd set all of the food and the dishes down, Andreas moved to her side once more. Glancing down at the food, the man grinned and moved to snake his arm around her waist once more in order to pull her closer. "I do think so, Creamsicle," he said pointedly, a mischievous grin resting on his face. "I also think that you might've gotten a little bit taller... maybe."
