ngl i've kinda headcanoned leeta as trans for a while!! someone on the show's bound to be trans considering how easy it is to transition in the federation (you just ask julian and he'll give you top and bottom surgery no questions asked even if it's solely for the purpose of doing schemes and also it only takes like two hours), and leeta seems so delighted by performing femininity in a way few other characters on the show do (even dax!), and when quark gets whatever the ferengi version of a vaginoplasty is in order to do schemes leeta immediately starts coaching him on voice training and feminizing his body language, and while she deeply resents quark's sexism she never seems anything but thrilled to be a dabo girl!! the cardassians probably made accessing any medical procedures, including gender transition, basically impossible during the occupation, which ended when leeta was in her twenties – what if her choice to be a dabo girl, which others look down upon, is her way of trying to reclaim those lost years? what if her hyperfemininity is how she moves on from the compound pain of subjugation and dissociation? what if thinking about the lady in the boob corset from space dave and busters made me fuckin want to cry

if you win, you'll recieve a commission from me! the commission will be on an 11x14-inch wood panel that'll be ready to hang up! after you win we'll talk about what you'd like me to do and I'll get started! my only specification is that it needs to be Star Trek and it's got to be something I can do with what I have already unless you'd like to pay the cost for me to order something specific. I have a couple of hundred Star Trek magazines though, whatever you're thinking is probably doable if I dig enough!

for every $10 you donate, you get an entry! you can get as many entries as you'd like to increase your odds. you can choose multiple fundraisers! you just need to message me with proof of your donations. I'm going to list some options but if there's somewhere or someone else you'd like to donate to, that's totally okay! my only guidelines are that your donation benefits Palestinians and it can't be a donation you made before this raffle.
