They consider the entire galaxy their kids! Every creation from the stars to the planets to the plants and aliens residing on it— all of those are considered their children. And they certainly wouldn’t mind having/making more— though since Elios’ disappearance as well as a good chunk of the galaxy vanishing, it’s been difficult to do so at all…

Does Davin hunt for vegetables and other ingredients in the middle of the gang's journey especially when they run out of food and money just like in Dungeon Meshi? Knowing they were raised by gardeners, have pretty much a good knowledge about plants and a great cook too i feel like they'd do that.
Yes they do! They’re especially great at foraging, something they picked up from traveling all those years alone. With the planets they travel to, they don’t typically need to since food is usually provided by shops or stands— but they’ll travel to the occasional deserted one here and again, and then they’ll need to forage— just in case!

A bit of a darker question, and also one that may get into spoiler territory, but I wonder what kind of event could lead to Davin and Siona? They're friendship was said to be a tough one to crack, but I didn't hear an "impossible" anywhere in that statement...
It’s certainly not impossible, but one that would require a lot to think about in regards to the why. It’d be an interesting episode idea to think about, however…

Yes! On certain planets they are the only accepted form of currency, simply referred to by their names (gems, crystals, diamonds) etc. to keep things simple.
The “main” form of currency is called solars!
