todd my beloved how are u

10. oh by FAR the funniest comment i ever got on a fic was the year the pandemic hit, and for shits and grins i thought i'd update that beast of a danganronpa chatfic i made? (u can't judge, it was big in 2017 ok) and the comment was just 'wow. it's really not 2020 without this fic updating' like lmao

20. man idkkk i like to think i'm quite good at characterising people well, but i do take liberties when their character isn't fully developed. tell you what tho, i do find revali from botw to be mega hard to characterise because he's. he's an asshole, but also he isn't. and he's got a soft side but i don't know where the fuck it is!! he's so hard to suss out

9 & 12 for the ask game!

hiyaa sun!!!

9. i think my biggest pet peeve writing fics is like. not knowing how to handle a good scene transition. like if an action is taking a character from one place to another and something small happens in that time, like... u can't spend loads of time on it? but on the other hand if its too short it feels weird :// 12. oh man. my first ever fic i wrote was back in 2011/2012 on deviantart, where I wrote a tokyo mew mew fic about kisshu but it was a really thinly veiled slash reader fic. i also got super nervous about getting into trouble writing kissing scenes so i like. censored them? lmao tweens can be so silly haha

they used to make smackable technology. you used to be able to hit your tv when it didn't work good.

when I was a kid I had an old tv in my room that would always turn to unwatchable static in the middle of shows but one night my sister and I were watching Naruto & every time Kakashi was on-screen the static cleared so we were like “hahaha the tv looooves Kakashi.”

I had a Kakashi bookmark so we held it up against the screen as a joke but the static actually cleared up. Mystified, we tried different bookmarks and objects with the same plastic material but nothing else worked, only the Kakashi bookmark.

We ended up taping it to the corner of the screen and it stayed there for 11 years until we moved out. When I was older people would be like “can you move the bookmark off the screen” bc it did sort of block a bit of the view but I would demonstrate the static issue and everyone was always just like “huh. what the hell?? well…alright.”

No explanation, but thanks Kakashi.
