@evannamari showed how to extract meshes using the Sims 4 Package Editor but also there is a way to do it using the Sims 4 Studio. Open the mesh file in Studio.
- Go to the Warehouse tab
- Click "Type" to sort resources by type.
- Find the Geometry resource and select the largest one, usually the file you need. You may need to click on other resources of the same size to determine which one you need. On the screen, I chose the 3mb resource that needs to be extracted, the rest of the 3mb resources are hat chops, you won’t confuse them with the full version.
- Export the selected resource
- And save as .4mesh.simgeom
6. Anto's meshes often consist of two parts - the alpha part we just extracted and the "clay" part. It also needs to be found among the other geometry resources and extracted. The view window is not very convenient, but usually there is no problem in determining which resource is needed.
And then just convert geoms using TS4 CAS Tools to obj format like on screenshot:
As for the texture, it seems that you can also extract it from Sims 4 Studio through the Warehouse tab. I did this for a long time and only once, because the texture on all Chromatic hair is the same. If you want, you can download it here (already extracted)
