Drew some scenes from the Path to Nowhere fic I wrote! I was thinking how funny it would be if during the part where L.L was embarassed and felt Coquelic's stare, was actually Coquelic and Sumire having a silent conversation.
Anyway, the new event was so fun! Miss Hella and her potty mouth. Our baby all grown up having adventures making me so proud. Also maybe Korryn and Bai Yi should open a new company together. The level of scamming they both could think of will be fantastic lol.
Hello, I am now in deep for Path to Nowhere that I ended up writing a fic. An idea popped up in my head of having Coquelic & L.L interracting. As it won't leave me alone, I wrote it down.
Summary: LL's pet dog, Cabbage, slipped away in the night. So, the Sinner went out to find him. Journeying through the MBCC's hallway, she met someone else alongside the puppy. Little did she know that the encounter would lead to bathing with the Garden's Mentor.

Shumai latest short is here! This one took sometime because we create a longer animation with more scenes. I animate and also create the rig that is used in the animation.
One of the challenging parts in creating this is the sound effects. Ensuring it all fit well together with the scene. It requires some experimentatiom but I am glad with how it turned out!

Classrooms are such an iconic setting in anime. That's why we chose it for our next scene. The idea is a person sleeping while the interior is basked by warm golden sunset light. Curtains flowing in and out the screen.
The challenge is figuring out the lighting for my 2D part. I learned a trick for lighting by going through the color palette settings in Harmony. Was mindblown when I found that solution from research.
The environment and curtains are done in 3D by @fragilmasc . The curtains were a challenge too and they did an amazing job figuring out the curtains' mechanics.

Shumai Animation!
What is Shumai Animation?
It's a collaborative project between me and @fragilmasc for 2d/3d hybrid animation. It's named after an imaginary cat. And, it's a labor of love.
Our first scene is spring day | semi, inspired by Ghibli Studio and the painting Woman with Parasol by Monet. I learned a lot and use nodes I never use before in Harmony. I'm so proud with the final result!

From the start, I want the piece to be lineless with flat bold colors and to look like it could be printed on a 红包 (red envelope). Oh! and the barongsais (lions) have to look cute too. I have to keep reminding myself of the rules I set in the process of making this. I'm glad with how it turned out!
With just a third level spell slot, you too can sic a cleric at those vermins and watch all those pesky rats disappear!
When there is pest, remember your local cleric is only a sending away!

Spirit guardians truly is THE cleric spell. Also the way she said "Ire et Dolor!" when she cast is *chef kiss*. But that can also be said to all the spells lol.
By the way, this piece is really fun to do! The silly idea combined with me trying a different style makes this rather refreshing to me. At this point, drawing Baldur's Gate 3 fanart is just me trying out different things and seeing what sticks hahaha
