Kamoun Lab @ TSL

@kamounlab / kamounlab.tumblr.com

The group of Sophien Kamoun at The Sainsbury Laboratory (TSL), Norwich, UK, studies plant-pathogen coevolution and how it impacts mechanisms of virulence and immunity. Visit periodically for updates on lab news and publications. You can also follow us on Twitter and keep up with the latest research and news on plant-microbe interactions via the scoop.it pages.

We welcome Julie @lintz_julie1 to our team. She joined us after completing her PhD with Ben Petre @BenjPetre at University of Nancy 🇫🇷 on poplar immune receptors

Julie is interested in receptor engineering. Here is one of her first action shots. Look how scared the benthis are!

In the last months, we welcomed a few people to the lab... This thread is long overdue but how about some fake action shots?

Jules Clayes @claeys_jules came to us from Bristol University and is working with @daniel_luedke @mpcontreras4 on in silico and in vivo NLR biology

(Muniyandi) Selvaraj @M__Selvaraj. Selvaraj joined us from the University of Helsinki and is bringing much needed structural biology expertise to the lab

We live in an AlphaFold world so we also welcomed Jogi Madhu Prakash @JMadhuprakash. Madhu is a structural biologist at the University of Hyderabad

Andrés Posbeyikian @adnroide joined us from the University of Buenos Aires. Andy works on NLR bioengineering with @clemmarchal

And more recently, Kornelija Aleksejeva from Wageningen University @WURplant joined us to explore NLR functional diversity with @JiorgosKourelis

Welcome to all! More infos on our web page @TheSainsburyLab. Check it here
