1250 followers gift - take a peek at my medievalish fantasy game (part 13/?)

It's time to visit the Bigfoot family. Let's put my Bigfoot mod to use. πŸ˜‰

The head of the family is Benedict Bigfoot. He moved to the forest near Dunceville from the mountains. At first he shared a hut with his friend, Wikwor Wolfhund. Later he moved out and focused on his butcher shop, where he sells carcasses of hunted animals. His aspiration is popularity and he has many friends: Narcissus Vegetable, Łucja (Lucy) Magic, Gargamel Magic, Francesco Monk and Wikwor Wulfhund. Since he is a Bigfoot spawned by the game, he has maxed skills and badges. His personality is 5/8/6/3/3.

As Benedict approached the middle of his adult life, he started to worry about not having any offspring. Bigfeet are scarce and usually don't live in big communities, so it was diffucult for him to find a female partner. However, during one of his hunting trips he got lucky and met Aldona on the mountainside. The female Bigfoot was barely of age, but two Bigfeet enjoyed each other's company. Soon Aldona moved in and got pregnant. Benedict finally felt fulfilled.

The bliss did not last long - Aldona gave birth to four little Bigfeet: Adrianna, Bonifacy, CzesΕ‚aw and Dagmara. While Benedict was proud to increase the population of his species, Aldona was overwhelmed.

The burden of keeping an eye of the tiny kindergarten fell on Aldona as Benedict is busy hunting and running the shop. Thus she doesn't have much time for herself and unlike other Bigfeet, she doesn't have much skills. Additionally, the age gap between her and her partner leads to numerous misunderstandings. She also finds it difficult to live so close to human and elf settlements and she hasn't made any friends yet. All in all, Aldona is unhappy with her current predicament. Her aspiration is pleasure and her personality is 3/5/3/7/7.

Adrianna (the sitting toddler) is the eldest of the quadruplets. Her personality is 5/8/6/10/3, heavy-sleeper, loves the cold.

Bonifacy (the toddler on the right side) is the second child. His personality is 5/7/3/9/4, evil, heavy-sleeper.

CzesΕ‚aw (the toddler most to the left) is the third child. His personality is 10/8/6/3/8, brave, good.

Dagmara (the crawling toddler second from the left to right) is the youngest one of the bunch. Her personality is 3/5/9/10/8, hates the outdoors (weird trait for a Bigfoot, but OK πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ), heavy-sleeper.

I didn't plan for the couple to have quadruplets. When they were born, I decided 'Fine, let's call them ABCD' 🀣

TS4 Romanian Folk Vest

Today I come to offer you a conversion of TS4 Romanian Folk Vest. I actually found some time for creating during the Easter break. :)

The vest is set for everyday and formal. It only has fat morph - I didn't have the patience to add preg morph.

It's available for children and older Sims. Adult recolors are enabled for elders as well. Teens and children are slaved to adults recolors.

The vest comes is five recolors (left to right): Mutenia, Banat, Moldova (Obviously I know Moldova is not Romania, but I think the vest was meant to represent Romanian folk attire? 😬), Oltenia and Transylvania

The vest is top-only, just like original TS4 mesh.

For you school project mod, does it conflict with heathensimmers edit of dill's homework mod? I never seem to get a school project even though I've increased the likely hood to %50.

If you meant @lilbabydilljr's Homework Sometimes, then yes, it conflicts with my homework mod (and edits of that mod conflict too).

As I said earlier, I don't want to make more compatibility plug-ins for my mod, but everyone is free to make one. :)

Hi! I’m so excited about your school project mod, thank you so much for your beautiful work!

Unfortunately the mod seems to throw an error when my sims try to spawn their homework after school:( the error is bad gosub tree number (here’s the log)

I have easy lot check, easy inventory check, smarter ep check and other mods (besides inteen) that β€œWhat caused this?” suggests to download in case of this error

I also have simler90's Homework Assignment Mod (Placement Version) and Homework Help Mod, smonaff's Fall Asleep While Doing Homework and epi’s pencils and crayons by color traits with the necessary compatibility patches of course

Could you please help me with this issue? I really don’t want to just delete your mod and live without it:((

I would appear that you have deleted simler90's Homework Assignment Mod (Placement Version) from your downloads folder. This mod should remain in your downloads, but my mod and the compatibility plug-in should load after it.

Hi Meduza, I'm not sure if you're the same person as the one I'm looking for but I figured I'd ask. This person posted a sim on Gos about 100 years ago :). His name was Aiden Kingsly. I am hoping you are they. And that you still have him. He was a gorgeous sim and since I've started playing the game again I would love to have him again. Thanks for your time.

January, February and March 2025 updates

Time for new summary of most recent updates. Luckily, this time there isn't plenty of them.

1500 followers gift

I doubt anyone recalls that I said I'd make for 1500 followers gift the option that loses race for 1250 followers gift.

Turns out I actually have 1600 followers right now (Oopsie), so here it is: a lot of my creation - Green library.

I'm sure I'm gonna lose some followers when they see this magnifficent upload. πŸ˜‰

Something for your mind, your body, and your soul… This library offers a fine selection of books. When your eyes grow tired, relax on the rooftop garden. And if your body is demanding attention, visit the basement for a workout session!

That's right - the library is complemented by a garden of the rooftop and a gym in the basement.

The library has a cloakroom, a computer room and a main library section. There are toilets on the ground level and showers in the basement. There's also a cash register in case you want to turn the library into a bookstore.

The gym is divided into four sections: ballet, legs and chest, cardio and punching bag.

The library is nearly CC-free, save for pre-order M&G maroccan planter and bench.

I avoided IKEA items as LC doesn't include IKEA SP.

This lot features a lot of M&G items, so I imagine it won't work for Mac users.

I've never shared a lot, but I followed anti-super duper hug bug guides and tips on removing Sims references.

I added an English name and description of the lot, but I'm not sure if it's displayed - my game isn't in English.

At last we visit a family that lives outside the city - the Wolfhund family.

As you have probably guessed, it's a werewolf family.

Wikwor is Betty's husband and father of their twins: MieczysΕ‚aw and Valeria. He's part of his white wolf Viola's pack. His personality is 5/8/6/3/3, ambitious, animal-lover, brave, loves to swim. He's got 4 points of cleaning skill and 10 points of body skill. His aspiration is family.

Wikwor lived for some time with his friend, Benedict Bigfoot when they were bachelors. Later Benedict moved to live alone and look for a lady, but they are still neighbours.

Being a werewolf, Wikwor made friend with Viola, a white wolf, which he adopted.

During one of his trips to the city, he met Betty. Her wits made him fall for her and they started dating. Betty was fascinated with his lycantropy and she begged him to turn her into a werewolf too. The man reluctantly agreed.

Not being allowed to live within city walls anymore due to her lycantropy, the woman moved in and soon the couple married. Only then Wikwor learnt his wife is actually the mayor of the Dunceville. Consequently, the mayor isn't allowed to live in the city and Betty has to travel every day to the townhouse and return in the afternoon. πŸ˜… Luckily, she doesn't mind living a peaceful live outside the city and wearing poorer clothing.

Seriously though, only when Betty stopped being a townie as she moved in to live with Wikwor, I found out she's a mayor. 🀣

Thanks to her job, Betty has many friends, one of them being Arthur Claudius. She also possess a lot of skills: 10 points of charisma, 10 points of body skill, 10 points of logic and 7 points of creativity. Her personality is 9/2/6/3/5, brooding, loves the heat, lucky, workaholic. She has a silver sewing badge as well. Her aspiration is knowledge.

And in Betty's case curiosity nearly killed a werewolf as she wanted to be scared by a ghost and when she finally got scared, she had a heart attack. πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ Wikwor had to beg Death to spare his slightly unhinged wife.

MieczysΕ‚aw (the boy held by Betty) is the elder twin. His personality is 7/10/8/6/2.

Valeria's (the girl's held by Wikwor) personality is 4/4/8/5/4.

Viola is a genius, hyper, independent, aggresive and mid between neat and finicky wolf. She has three puppies with a black wolf called Tofik: Have (male), Paw (female) and Spade (female). The puppies all look the same and share their mother's personality. πŸ˜•

Hi, Meduza! Thank you for your wonderful mods. Quick question: does the School Project Project require FT or AL? I play on a Mac, and while the enthusiasm gain aspect makes me think a pack I don't have is involved, I thought I'd ask. Thank you again.

Hi! It shouldn't require FT - I added an EP check before every enthusiasm related node, so it should be skipped if you don't have FT.

Please let me know if it doesn't work for you. :)

The School Project Project

I couldn't stop myself from giving this mod such an awful title. xD

This mod gives children and teenagers a chance of bringing home school project instead of standard written homework.

There are in total 6 school projects converted from TS4 Parenthood: bridge, castle, electricity, rocket, solar system and volcano.

Kids have a chance of bringing the following three projects: castle, solar system and volcano. Teens have a chance of bringing the following three projects: bridge, electricity and rocket.

Chance of bringing a school project is by default 20%, but it can be tuned in BCON "Tuning - School Project" of group 0x7FBE051B and instance 0x0000200A.

School projects take longer to finish (by about 1/4 longer), but are more rewarding, letting your Sims gain some skills, hobby enthusiasm and even badges, making school actually useful. πŸ˜‰

  • Bridge makes your Sims gain mechanical skill and tinkering enthusiasm.
  • Castle makes your Sims gain creativity skill and arts enthusiasm.
  • Electricity makes your Sims gain mechanical skill, robotery badge and tinkering entusiasm.
  • Rocket makes your Sims gain logic skill, toy making badge and science enthusiasm.
  • Solar system makes your Sims gain mechanical skill and science enthusiasm.
  • Volcano makes your Sims gain logic skill and nature enthusiasm.

Skill, badge and enthusiasm gain isn't that great, but it's there.

You won't see the skill meter above your Sim's head, because apparently there can be only one meter at a time.

Sims have a chance of making school project of one of three qualities: poor, good and excellent.

The outcome depends on skill and badge corresponding the project, getting help with school project (but it only counts if it happens during quality check) and traits:

  • clumsy Sims will always get penalty,
  • technophobes wil get penalty when working on electricity and rocket,
  • 'can't stand art' Sims will get penalty when working on castle,
  • geniuses and perfectionists will always get bonus,
  • handy Sims will get bonus when working on electricity and rocket,
  • artistic and avant garde Sims will get bonus when working on castle.

Bonuses do not stack. Penalties also don't. So if your Sim is genius and perfectionist, they will get only one bonus. Bonus and penalty can cancel each other out.

When making castle, your SIms will hold a crayon instead of a pencil. While working on the electricity project Sims will hold a screwdriver. In case of other projects Sims will still use pencil, because I haven't decided what else would fit. πŸ˜…

If you use smonaff’s Fall Asleep While Doing Homework, Sims who have fallen asleep can't make a project of excellent quality - it will be good at best.

Additionally, if you have @earlypleasantview's conversions of TS4 School Projects in your downloads, upon completion of a project a project will be placed in your Sim's inventory. The only exception is the castle as various qualities are recolors of the object, so you will have to manually set the recolor you want it to be.

I'm not planning on making any more compatibility plug-ins for this mod. I can safely assume 16 plug-ins is enough.

Known bugs

When project's model changes Sims arms are bent under weird angle for a moment.

Hi, Meduza! First of all, thank you for all the awesome mods you have been sharing! Now to get to the point of my message... It's about your Rebecah's Wooden Juicer Tweaks. I recently mentioned to Gummilutt that the version djsGummiluttMidge didn't work for me (probably other recipe versions wouldn't either, that's just the one I tried). Gummilutt said you hadn't set up the action string primitive and it's trying to get strings from the semi global, not the private level (forgot to change action string level in the guardian for recipe book). I hope that makes sense, to me it really doesn't, because I'm not a mod creator like you awesome people! Again thank you for all the work you do! I don't expect you to fix the old tweaks you shared to this particular mod, I just thought I would mention it!

Bell Bottom Sneakers Completer - AF, TF, TM, CU, EF, EM

This will take a little explaining. @whattheskell made these pants with sandals for AF. @deedee-sims made this version of them with sneakers but they were for AM. Then @jellymeduza converted all the meshes to other ages and genders but only made 1 of the textures, which is the denim that's first on the swatch above

I made repo versions of the other 7 textures for the Sneakers meshes because I prefer those over sandals. They were made with the Repo Wizard so DeeDee's originals are required, make sure to download them here. Meduza's denim conversions aren't included in the download but you can get those here. Meshes are included, set as Everyday

It appears LordDarcy's mod fixes the same issue as Gummilutt's mod, i.e. teens and elders not being able to clean up a catnip.

Since I incorporated Gummilutt's fix, simply make my mod load after Lord Darcy's and both wil work fine. :)

Hi Meduza, I just found your More drinks from bar mod too and I'm so excited to add it to my game!! I have Lamare's 50 LTWs so I added both your main file and your 50 LTW patch. But in the middle of making a drink my sims sometimes jump out of the interaction, stopping the action midway and failing to make a drink. If they ever succeed in making a drink, the drink is held horizontally! HDCU+ reports conflicts with NoBartendRel, 50 LTW & CJ Fewer Drunks. What do I do? :(

Hi!

First of all, could you use boolprop testingcheatsenabled true cheat? If your Sims jump it means you would get an error log if you used that cheat. When you get the error log, DM it to me - it will make my job so much easier.

Secondly, could you DM me links to the conflicting mods? I don't want to waste my time on looking for mods I've never heard about earlier, like "NoBartendRel".

BTW make sure my 50LTW patch loads both after lamare's 50LTW mod and my more drinks mod.

Trait replacements from Jellymeduza's Avatar mod

Designed for non-Avatar themed neighborhoods.

Just remove the old traits and put in my own. They have the same GUIDS, so there shouldn't be any compatibility issues with Jelly's released mods.
