Gazafunds actually deals with this anxiety and makes a decision for you if you want. Their home page has a spotlighted fundraiser and the code consider things like how close the gfm is to finishing, when the most recent donation is, etc. So it's randomized to help as many people as possible.
There's also @helpgazachildren which if you donate, you can help multiple people at once since it's a whole mutual aid fund, or at least close to it. Hussam distributes money to people who need it when he's asked.

Guys this completely changed my writing, heed it. I often do an entire draft just looking at sentence variation and oftentimes the results are absolutely transformative in the difference.
This is very very good advice, and absolutely worth following. Read this. Read it again. Follow it. Your writing will get much, much better.

Whole-heartedly BEGGING writers to unlearn everything schools taught you about how long a paragraph is. If theres a new subject, INCLUDING ACTIONS, theres a new paragraph. A paragraph can be a single word too btw stop making things unreadable
Ok So I’m getting more notes than I thought quicker than I expected! So I’m gonna elaborate bc I want to.
I get it, when you’re someone who writes a lot and talks a lot, it’s hard to keep things readable, but it’s not as much about cutting out the fat(that can be a problem) so much as a formatting issue.
You are also actively NERFING yourself by not formatting it correctly, it can make impactful scenes feel so, so much better. Compare this,

Yes. I'm always annoyed at this kind of English-class paragraph nonsense because I pretty much taught myself to write online, in forums and chat rooms and web pages. (I didn't go to elementary/middle/high school)
I had a pre-college English class and they are like "why do you put so many paragraph breaks in? You should just let everything flow together in bigger paragraphs!" and I'm like "uhh that seems harder to read, but okay"
And it's taken me YEARS to get back to the point where my writing was as readable as it was as back when I was 17!
All because some teachers were like "well this isn't how we do it when we're doing Official English Writing For Books And Shit"
