the act two romance scene with Lae'zel is actually so funny the more cringe of a character you are
because like she's nearly fucked you to death at least once at this point and could have gotten over whatever lust had she for you if it was just lust. like she even basically tells you this is a one time (and maybe two time) thing to sate both of your desires
and like there's not a hint of anything different for the longest time. she doesn't flirt with you. she doesn't hint at wanting to sleep with you again. she doesn't make any real comments about the fact that you have. you're just going about your tasks like whatever
and then she just wakes you up in middle of the night and tells you that she's been OBSESSING over you and she can't take it anymore. like there have been NO hints of this, but apparently she's more distracted by thinking about you than she has about the tadpole in her head, her people trying to kill her, and her entire worldview falling down on her. she's literally like "I can't stop obsessing over you. I need you to beat me up right now."
and like the specific phrasing she uses to describe her obsession is WILD
so just remember every failed roll and fuck up you did between fucking Lae'zel and this moment because the whole time Lae'zel is like seeing that and like OBSESSING over it all. like your ass gets knocked down in battle and your face hit the ground and she's just seeing that like "I wish that (the ground that your face hit) was me..."
