i did a big order of the stick reread this week and it’s such a product of its time. i think it’s a blessing as a reader to get to see an artist and story evolve over two decades and it’s such a fun read. but it makes me so sad because the webcomic landscape today is so harsh and i don’t think people get that chance to evolve any more:( to get popular now you have to already put out a professional level polished comic from the start.
