Do you use IMFDB as a resource?
Yes
Hi I might genuinely delete tumblr off my phone and maybe even my computer. that also might count for my side account, although i'm willing to come back a few times just to identify some guns.
social media is straight up not making me happy. I've never felt more disconnected from everyone and everything. When i stopped using tiktok, i felt like things were just a tiny bit better, and you know what, maybe getting rid of straight up everything will help.
If you think you're gonna miss me, ask me for a telegram, phone number, discord, whatever you want.
Thoughts on the bullpups in Helldivers 2? They've got both AR and shotgun bullpups!
i think their assautl rifles designs are very simple. like nothing too special about it. I like the Liberator Pentrator is my go to for tin cans.
the shotguns are basically just the UTS-15, which is cool, i guess.
this is my favorite character render of all time because usually when you give a character a gun in a render of them you'd try to make them cool or look like they know what they're doing but she looks so pathetic and does not even feel like shes holding it properly
she looks like shes going to cry
is this a makarov. @i-identify-guns-in-posts
hihi ! thought id ask about my favorite gun
what do you think of the steyr aug?
personally whilst i know that bullpups are a bit of a controversy within the realm of firearms due to the difference in ergonomics being too large from more conventional firearms for a lot of people to effectively use them, ive always loved them ever since i first layed eyes on the famas. my favorite model is is the aug a3 m1 (showed in the image above), i really love how it maintains the aesthetics of the original a1 whilst still keeping the same relative level of customization the a3 has
i think bullpups are cool and awesome
I've been in love with the AUG since playing CS as a wee little baby. Despite not really being a fan of Bullpups!
Also for some reason the picture you've shared is horizontally mirrored. It's recognizable because : the gas port should not be visible on this side, you should be able to see the charging handle, and the external bolt release (signature of the A3 variant) is not visible. Why is that i do not know (that is literally how it appears on AUG's own website)
(you can even see the "AUG" marking on the stock is flipped)
image i am in love with
@i-identify-guns-in-posts any idea here ?

A Future Beyond War Starts With You 💙
My name is Naser, and war has taken everything from me—my mother, my sister, my home, and the life I once knew. In an instant, my world was shattered, leaving behind nothing but memories and the weight of loss.
But even in the darkest moments, I refuse to give up. Because amidst the pain, I still have something worth fighting for—my three younger brothers.
🔹 One dreams of becoming a doctor, to heal others so they don’t have to endure the pain we’ve faced.
🔹 Another aspires to be an engineer, hoping to one day rebuild what war has destroyed.
🔹 And the youngest? He doesn’t have big dreams yet—he just wants to be a kid again, to wake up in a home that feels safe, to play without fear.
🏡 We Need a Home. We Need Education. We Need Hope.
Right now, we are not just fighting for survival—we are fighting for the chance to live, to grow, to dream again. We are fighting for a future where my brothers can become the doctor, the engineer, the child who gets to have a childhood.
💙 This is where you come in.
I’m not asking for much—just a chance. A chance to rebuild, to give my brothers a future beyond war.
Your support, whether through a donation or simply sharing our story, can make all the difference. Even the smallest act of kindness can create ripples of change.
🙏 Will you help us rebuild?
Together, we can prove that war doesn’t get the final word—hope does. Thank you for standing with us. 💙✨
Hi, my name is Mosab , and I’m from Gaza. Life here has been harder than I could ever imagine, but today I’m sharing my story with hope in my heart, because your kindness has already given us so much strength.
This journey hasn’t been easy. The war has taken 25 family members from us—25 beautiful souls we loved deeply. Their laughter, their presence, their love… all of it is gone, leaving behind memories that are both precious and painful. Every day, I carry the weight of their loss, but I also carry their spirit, which gives me the strength to keep going.
Our Journey So Far
When I first reached out, I couldn’t have imagined we’d make it this far. Your support has been a light in these difficult times, and we are so deeply grateful for every single contribution.
But the road ahead is still challenging. Every day, we’re reminded of how much we’ve lost and how much we still need to rebuild.
Here’s what life in Gaza looks like for my family right now:
🏠 Safety: The uncertainty of tomorrow weighs heavily on us.
😢 Loss: The absence of the 25 family members we’ve lost is a pain we carry every moment.
💔 Dreams on Hold: The future feels so far away when survival takes all our strength.
How You Can Help Us Cross the Finish Line Even the smallest act of kindness can make a difference:
Why Your Support Matters Your kindness isn’t just about helping us meet our goal—it’s about reminding us that we’re not alone in this fight. It’s about hope. It’s about survival. And it’s about giving my family a chance to rebuild our lives, even in the face of unimaginable loss.
Thank you for helping us get this far. Your generosity and compassion have already brought us closer to a better tomorrow, and for that, I’m endlessly grateful.
With all my love and gratitude,
Mosab and Family ❤️
are flamethrowers firearms?
related: are flamethrowers cool? not the "glorified blowtorch" kind, the "solid stream of liquid accelerant on fire" kind.
i think they're cool on paper? i feel like the few 1-person flamethrowers that have existed maybe haven't seen that extensive use for a reason.
I prefer old school flamethrowers
Legally speaking they a considered Any Other Weapon(AOW) under the NFA and require a 200 dollar tax stamp
That's completely wrong, flamethrowers are not legally considered firearms at all (they don't propel a projectile through the use of an explosive) and don't require any sort of tax stamp or background check to own or build in the US
legally speaking the US is not the entire world.
