I like it when the blue sky does that thing
are the rumors true? Is there really an official Mordecai body pillow?
Yes and no? I once had a Patreon request for Mordecai body pillow art, and the requester did actually follow through on printing it on a body pillow. It was just a one-off thing, though. It doesn't exist as an official merch item.
Would Rocky be willing to train to get stronger?
Like if someone were to ask (or try to persuade) him if he wanted to train with them to get stronger and build muscle, go from spaghetti arms to fettuccine!
Would he say yes or would he poetically say no? 😭
Strength training? Oh, sure. He'd be game. What fun. (Don't leave him unsupervised.)
In the least disastrous outcome, he'd become quickly distracted with turning the funny, squeaky noises the gym equipment makes into a musical number.
Viktor Vasko (Redraw from 2023)
For those who aren't keen on purchasing from the mega-sized book retailers, Lackadaisy books are all now available for direct purchase from Iron Circus Comics! Through tomorrow (April 2nd), there's a special three hardcover book bundle with signatures available as well.
how long will the episodes of the show be? same length as the pilot? and how many pages of the comic will be in each one? and i know this is a ton of questions but will it just be a straight adaptation of the comic? or will it have other things thrown in, like for example Mordecai doesn’t appear a whole lot in the first volume of the comic, will he appear more in the show than he did in the comic?
Episode 1 is similar in length to the pilot. It's not a straight adaptation of the comic. The season encapsulates Volume 1, and there are some sequences that run very close to what's presented in the comic, but it also contains entire chunks of material - scenes, conversations, flashbacks, music - that have never appeared in the comic. Because of that, I can't really compare page numbers with episodes.
Bobby Bastion's First World War cap badge appears to be one for the Gloucestershire Regiment. Was that specifically picked or just lifted from the reference material?
If it was intentional, does that mean Bobby has the West Country English accent of the area?
It's deliberate. He's from Bristol, and multiple battalions from Bristol fell under the Gloucestershire Regiment despite Bristol being its own city and county. So yeah, he has the Bristolian variant of the West Country accent.
you can decide how we got here lmao
also little reference for this piece because i giggle at it
