💿The Afterglow Hair System Starter Hair Dump💿

This has been brewing up since July but I'm very happy to say I'm finally done with this! The Afterglow Hair System is basically Sunshine and Zeb blended 50/50 because I wanted something softer than sunshine that still has depth. Just some stuff that I converted for my own use... One of them has a few caveats but most are pretty standard.

Magical Girl Sandbox Zoisite Moon in Afterglow + Maxis Match

I vaguely remember Magical Girl Sandbox having a male version of their Sailor Moon hair and when I checked, they did, but it was only teen and up and only in two colors. So I linked it to the child and toddler versions of their female Sailor Moon hair and retextured it in two hair systems: Afterglow and Magical Girl Sandbox's Maxis Match system.

Hezeh 58 for Ladies

An update of my Hezeh 58 conversion to be unisex! This was requested by an anon and was fairly easy to do.

I updated the original mesh/zip to include both (because why not) but SFS wasn't letting me upload it (or, well, anything) so I made a simblr.cc account and posted it there. Same stats apply as the original, both V1/V2 etc... the only difference is I didn't do the unnaturals for the ladies.

Katsu's alternative Afterglow Palette

as I mentioned in my last post, I made a lil alternative hair colour palette. Before I got into Afterglow, I really wanted to try out @0201-sims VK actions, as I love the idea of a visual kei inspired hair colour pallete. But I got into afterglow, so forgot about it for a while! Then when I was ill and making a bunch of sims and downloading a bunch of CC recently, I thought that I wished I had a secondary family of naturals to chose from, as when I was using Pooklet's colours I used 2, one being what my DRs were in, and the other being just another option. So I tried out the VK actions, but wasn't 100% happy with how some of them looked on Afterglow textures. Afterglow has a subtle, silky shine (which is what converted me, aha) that can easily become flat looking with certain colour actions applied- so I trialed some other colours I like and this is what I came up with!

Alternative Palette V2

Just a slight edit to this palette that has an edited version of Cassis Aliene; after using the alt palette for quite a few hairs I found that Aliene was a little too blue to read as black for me, when I'd initally tested the palette I wasn't finding that so I'm wondering if it's mainly a property of the afterglow textures themselves that alters the appearance of the colours; Afterglow volatile is a bit of a softer, less yellow colour than Pooklet volatile for example. I did a quick edit to Aliene to desaturate it without losing the blue tone that makes it look dyed, which brings it closer to Cassis' preview of the VK palette but on Afterglow textures. The picture shows it in comparison to the Poppet v2 black that comes with the original Afterglow naturals. Otherwise, there's no other changes!

Alternative Palette V3

I've been experimenting with switching my bright pink action from Pooklet pentolite to Kinu's Freyja action from their Kurayami set. It's closer to red but has the advantage of preserving detail a bit better and has less glare over afterglow textures under bodyshop XB lighting. No edits to the naturals, just a simple swap for the unnaturals I've been regualrly using ^^
