Heartstopper feels real, it gives me real feelings. Even if many people see it as a series full of impossibly perfect relationships, I feel that something like what all characters have can actually happen in anyone's life, especially in our current generation and the upcoming ones. It's true that we have a really long way ahead of us, but we've come so far, and things are immensely better than they were ten years ago We're working towards equality and visibility, and fighting to speak up about our issues. Series like Heartstopper show the kind of support we will have in the near future if we keep going. I'm not only talking about romance but about overall love. Friendships, found families, openness, healthiness in relationships, defiance of toxic and hurtful stereotypes, and inclusivity. We are a part of Heartstopper for as long as we fight for those, and Heartstopper is a part of us for as long as we let it be one
