Hi I’m Annabelle! I’m a 24 year old illustrator, I mostly draw my own characters, but also do fanart every now and then too.

If you’d like to learn more about my own characters that I post, then you can read more about them on my toyhouse! Or if you’re curious about anything in particular, or just wanna chat my ask is always open.

I’ve had this account since I was 14 (so 2013) so you can see quite a timeline of my works/interests!

I've had this art piece idea in mind for many years (if I had to guess, I think I got the idea in 2019), and it's stuck with me all that time because of how it does speak to a feeling I've experienced often.

The people illustrated here are not original characters of mine, nor are they from something, and further -- they're also not meant to represent anyone specific. I just wanted to emphasize that everyone in this group gives nice kind vibes, and even still, the girlie with the orange hair feels isolated. I took some of these designs from one-off illustrations I did years ago.

WOO‼️‼️ I can finally post my @voxxazine piece!... actually I could've posted it like a week ago (that's when the zine released) but I was waiting until the site I made for the project was publicly available.

because yeah, in addition to being given the opportunity to make a page for the zine, I also made the site! thank you to the mods for being so nice ;w;

but yeah anyways! this piece seemed "simple" when I was musing the idea of it, but it ended up taking me so SO long to finish (ig i should've known, given all the details I wanted to include), and speaking of details: see how many references to Miku related things you can catch! allusions to her original design don't count (so things like the "01" patch on her jacket I don't consider a "reference" :P), there's about 11 "references" total! see if you can catch them all ;)

i've wanted a plush of Babbit since i first watched Kodocha when i was 12, and it only occurred to me recently that i should just make one of him... so i did! and i made a tutorial (and released the sewing pattern) in case anyone else wants to make a Babbit plush too ;w;

oh! and he's also got a squeaker inside of him. u can see that in this totally-inconspicuously-titled video

happy (varying in effort by year) annual-halloween-bolton-and-yorkie illustration everybody! i'm surprised it took me this long to finish a piece of them as a vampire and werewolf since i've had it in mind for quite a few years! better late than never i suppose >:) have a good halloween everyone!

💙 What is your favorite thing about Precure?:  In real life, growing up, or a moment with your friends might emotionally feel dramatic, but it's actually subdued. Precure is able to show these moments with the dramatic weight it feels they have thanks to the exaggerative elements present in the series, and because of that it (ironically) feels more grounded in reality. So because of this, I love the way the series depicts friendship and growing up… I also just love how it's able to be frilly and feminine and pretty!
