I may or may not have a theory for Rizen, but I am thinking about it nonetheless. I wanna know,,, who turned him into a cyborg. Also I think Midas can have girl problems (like his friends)

Find out about Rizen at @aealrizen

Hey uh...what's that one wip....Gigi Death...for the ask meme.......

Avatar

Oh uh...uh...that. Um...nothing serious yeah...

Okay but actually don't worry about it. It was a first draft from 2021, and now is a deleted scene. Originally there was this point where Gigi died, but he later came back to life. This WIP is actually small so I'll just give you the whole thing lol I never even made it to the part With Gigi's Death dsjdfkjsdf

The world was burning. A sea of lightning churning above the ground, charring it black. Wind whipped the embers into ribbons of distorting colors up into the misted heavens. In a voice of its own the earth cried out. Skylar's feet hit the burning stones and cracked them like eggshells. Raw red spilling into the dead dirt. His eyes followed it as it ran down the footpath and seeped between the roots of a tree curling into itself. The leaves got pulled off the tree, as if the air was sucking in on itself and taking whatever it grabbed with it. It flew through the air before catching fire and evaporating into smoke to be pulled along. "Gigi!" Skylar cupped his hands to his mouth and yelled. His voice cracked as he tried to raise it to carry over the landscape.   Wisps of his hair flew into his face and mouth and swept over his eyes. It filled his clothes and tugged it forward only to change its mind and yank it the other way. Skylar rubbed his hands together as he groaned. The eerie orange cast the world had been dropped in sucked the familiarity away. It was like a nightmare. A very real one too.  "Gigi, where did you go?!" Skylar bellowed. The ground began to crack and splinter

Is it Wednesday Chicken day?

every day can be Wednesday Chicken day if you're not a coward/jk

Okay but actually this ask is hilarious to me because of the backstory behind wednesday chicken as a keepers meme. Which I shall divulge in this post.

So Skylar is a time-traveler. Felix is also a time-traveler, but manages (usually) to keep himself more linearly following the universal timestream. Unfortunately though, this means Felix and Skylar's interactions are all over the place in their own personal timestreams. (for example in one meeting Felix is 65 and Skylar is 326, then the next time Skylar comes across Felix and they team up it's the next day from his perspective, but for Felix it's been 20 years and in that space of time he's interacted with Skylar numerous times that this 326 yod Skylar has not experienced yet and numerous times that he has)

I have no idea if that was comprehensible, I've always struggled to describe time theory lol

Anyway. One afternoon Skylar decides to do something nice for his buddy and goes out to buy him some fried chicken. It's Wednesday, they're chilling, Felix mentions that he's hungry. He goes out, buys the chicken (definitely not with cash from Felix's bedroom drawer. people don't accept gold coins as payment anymore smh) and teleports himself back to the house... but it's no longer Wednesday. He accidentally went to the wrong time. And so begins a saga of Skylar trying to find the correct time- the correct Wednesday- so he can give Felix the chicken. He's planned out in his head the way he wants to present it- announcing "Wednesday chicken!" as he enters the room, but to no avail. It's never Wednesday. There are many times Felix responds with pity, "Oh no, you're doing Wednesday Chicken?" and the dread builds in Skylar's heart. Will he ever succeed? Will he ever be free from this endless loop of always weekdays never Wednesday?

We're still undecided if he ever makes it. 😔

All this to say, Wednesday Chicken is not a concept bound by any calendar invented by man. It is a concept of the HEART. Feast my friends, any day can be Wednesday Chicken day if you choose to make it. But it has to be Wednesday.

Ketsler wip

This snippet is from a scene set in Ketsler's backstory when he's a teenager. It was originally written by @masterfuldoodler from Rhyin's perspective (you can read that here) but I've been working on rewriting it from Ketsler's hehe

“I don’t know, Ketsler,” he finally said. “Maybe I’ve been asleep all my life. Maybe this is what it’s actually like to be alive. Maybe it will get better, I just need to… to catch up to you.” The old feeling of guilt jolted through his system and Ketsler looked away. It wasn’t fair. They were equals, even if Rhyin didn’t have magic. Even if he never had magic. He hated the fact that magic- something meant to be a blessing- could be twisted into such a curse for the both of them. Maybe Tehvlar was right though, maybe he had found the cure. Maybe… Rhyin *could* catch up to him. Rhyin was still staring dejectedly at his hands, and Ketsler realized he probably needed to break him out of whatever moody thoughts he was starting to bury himself in. “So what’s with the bandage?” He asked, lightly tapping Rhyin’s knee and gesturing to his arm. “Didn’t they use a healing spell?” Rhyin broke out of his thoughts, shifting his hands to lace his fingers together. “Father says he used one to seal it closed,” He answered, giving Ketsler a glance before looking back down to his hands. “He said the internal healing should come from my own stores. It burns though.” Burning again. Ketsler frowned again, nodding slowly. He wanted to do something to make things better- Rhyin seemed so out of sorts and in pain- but he didn’t understand the theory behind the experiment well enough, nor did he want his interference to ruin anything and possibly make Rhyin’s condition worse. Tehvlar was basically inaccessible right now to ask for advice, and there was no telling how much longer he would be engaged in the meeting.
