As a healthcare professional-in-training, I’ve been working on a medical drama game with a healthy dash of romance added.

It’s the not-so-distant future, and the landscape of medicine has been irrevocably changed. Once incurable diseases are now completely manageable. Metastatic cancer. Alzheimer’s. These patients have a new lease on life, and it’s all thanks to Citadel Health’s NINO technique. But, like all innovations in medicine, there’s more to it than meets the eye…

Play as a first-year surgery intern at Citadel Health. Will you become the star intern and curry the favor of the chief? Or will you uncover Citadel Health’s secrets and break a story or two? This will be the best and worst year of your life. Don’t forget to save lives and break some hearts along the way.

The latest chapter (27th Dec) is AVAILABLE right now for EVERYONE! :) I'm sorry that it took longer than I thought it would, but I'm so excited to finally share it and can't wait to hear what you guys think!

  • Visit a columbarium with your family (to commemorate your grandparents 👴👵 and relive some childhood memories!) <Flesh out your MC's family life>
  • OR: Skip the columbarium family trip and have lunch with Qiu (at their workplace 💼; or lunch with Shay (includes an optional boxing 🥊 session and the potential to meet someone dear to them🍲).
  • Meet Qiu or Shay at a 'winter'-themed  funfair/carnival in the evening (or save it for a future Nat date)🧸🎄🍻 <win stuffed animals, drink mulled wine, sit on the lawn and... experience... snow(?)>
  • Bonus scenes at night if you choose not to go to the funfair (e.g. board games with Joony, write a song if you're a musician etc.) 

Wordcount: 67k (this brings the total wordcount to ~220k words!)

I'm stuck between Jean, Vic, and Dr. Grey😭

Good question! It's so hard to choose 😔

Pros for Jean: The sweetest. Will fiercely advocate for their patients (and for you). You literally get to go on a date with them to McDonald's in Case Two.

Cons for Jean: None. But, for real, it will be very hard for you to continue their romance if you're not on (spoiler)'s side.

Pros for Vic: Muscly. Tall. A great mentor. A great cook.

Cons for Vic: It is heavily alluded in multiple posts on this Tumblr that something bad involving Vic will happen in Case Three.

Pros for Dr. Grey: He's Dr. Grey.

Cons for Dr. Grey: His ex-wife is Erika...who is extremely intimidating. He has a kid (if kids aren't your thing). You never know what he's really thinking.

Public release of CT:OS update #8 IS LIVE!!! 🎉

Roughly +76k words, ~15k words in a single playthrough (estimated).

Features

  • Meet Sam again (if you chose to have them come over for the weekend)—yes, running bear hugs are possible, and you can even choose to wear Sam’s jacket! 👕
  • Hallmates will come watch your game (with a poster!) 
  • Play your first doubles match with your newly-minted partner 🎾 [Includes some sneaky tactics like a fake argument (or a real one 👀)] (achievement up for grabs) 
  • Find Tobin, Rayyan, Sam, G, or your hallmates after the doubles match (before the singles match) [Possible smooches 💋!]
  • Nicknames added throughout the game (from the beginning!) [There are opportunities for MC to earn unique nicknames from dad, teammates, Sam, hallmates, G, Tobin, Rayyan, based on little moments in the game!]

If you've not played the early-release, I suggest you start from the beginning if you want the nicknames, otherwise I'm hoping that saves shouldn't break... (🤞)
