Dave Hill's Futuristic Page from the Future

@mrdavehill / mrdavehill.tumblr.com

My name is Dave Hill and this my Tumblr page. I also have my own website on the Internet at www.davehillonline.com. Deal with it. Also, my first book, TASTEFUL NUDES (St. Martin’s Press) is out now. Read it or my feelings will be hurt. Oh, and I smell great.

Here’s a sneak peek at the hot new @mrdavehill screen print that will soon be hanging on your wall in a nice frame. It’s fresh out of the box sent to me by the serigraphic maestros at @vahalla . As soon as we get these prints signed and numbered, they will be available for purchase, so stay tuned!

Are you heading back to the Paris of northeastern Ohio for Canadian Thanksgiving with your dad? Really looking forward to the ice cream tweets.

Not sure yet, but I will be partying with him in Cleveland soon either way!

London and New York.  I like Paul Smith and Vivienne Westwood the best.

Is your real name David?

Yes!

Awesome poster for my live comedy album recording at Union Hall September 3 by the great dannyhellman.

Anonymous asked:

Are you ever coming back to Cleveland ?

Yes.  I come to Cleveland often, next month in fact!

Anonymous asked:

Will you sleep with me ?

Yes.  But it has to be in separate beds in separate buildings.

How about a Google Hangouts on Air for every GDDHS?

What is a Google hangout?  There is the chat room on wfmu.org that folks hang out in during the show.  Would that be similar?

This is my favorite Danzig song and- believe me- it wasn't easy to pick just one. Sometimes I will listen to it while doing crunches. Other times I will listen to it while getting to second base with a goth chick I met outside the Sunglass Hut. In short, it is great to listen to pretty much all the time. I hope you like it so much.

There are a lot of great clips from the Dick Cavett Show (the greatest talk show of all-time) on YouTube. This legendary clip with Gore Vidal and Normal Mailer being total pricks to each other is especially entertaining and a reminder of how television actually used to be interesting.

Here- watch an entire BBC documentary about Glen Campbell. So angry with Tanya Tucker right now but otherwise this is the best.

Chet Atkins melting faces with "Mr. Sandman" here in 1954 makes me want to both practice and quit the guitar altogether. But mostly it reminds me of the infinite possibilities of this sweet, sweet instrument.

The new Eyehategod is pummeling. Out this May on Housecore Records. Should be a scorcher if you like getting your damn face melted as much as I do.
