Yeah, we used to post on Reddit a long time ago, but have since completely left the site. Unfortunately, it's not getting any updates anymore, and we aren't answering questions or fixing posts. We're glad you were able to find us here, because this is where we do still post new content (on hold right now) and are actually present.

Important News Regarding the Project!

Hey, everyone following our project, both new and long time fans!

Today we've got some news that aren't entirely positive, unfortunately.

THE OVERHAUL PROJECT WILL BE PUT ON HOLD.

The decision was made with the main team, as we've discussed the ways we've attempted to stay going with our deadlines. We've concluded that pushing ourselves, even if very gently, is not making our motivation came back.

While we still love Trigun dearly, we have felt somewhat alienated from the community lately. Beyond that, real life responsibilities and struggles have taken much of our personal energy, cutting us off from other aspects of our lives. We've decided to focus what energy we have into reconnecting with friends and focusing on personal creative projects, all avenues that suffered during our burnout.

So, for the foreseeable future we will not be uploading any new volumes, nor will we be posting monthly updates. We will still be answering any questions you send to our blog, we will reblog something here and there, and engage with with ongoing Trigun Bookclub (though under our personal accounts.)

We will also still be doing that review of the Trigun Deluxe book eventually, though much there is to say about it has truly been said in the community in general.

If we feel up for it, we might make a surprise upload some time of smaller releases, like: artbooks, comics, magazines, etc. Usually a posting notice will be uploaded a week in advance, so people hopefully won't miss it when we do upload.

We're sorry we won't be continuing our Japanese uploads for now, but as we know, and encouraged by fans as well, we must look after our own health first and foremost.

TRIGUN ULTIMATE OVERHAUL SEPTEMBER 2024 UPDATE

OVERHAUL UPDATE 09/06/24 - Getting back to Japanese releases and more.

Hey there, everyone, and welcome to another monthly update!

This one is going to be short, as there aren't a lot of news this time around. We continue to work through some of the burn-out, and have ensured to adjust our schedule to accommodate for the rocky work motivation. It is still uncertain if we'll be able to manage a schedule yet, but for now we have agreed on an initial plan.

Next Japanese volume release will be November 4th!

And then we'll attempt to try and adhere to a two month gap between releases.

In addition to our Japanese releases, we'll be doing a little bit of extra content. With the upcoming release of the Trigun Deluxe editions, we'll be looking through them to add commentary to any potential changes to the translation. If there are no changes, then we'll simply provide a short review of each release for those who are on the fence about buying them.

If there are anything specific you'd like for us to look out for in the new releases, please let us know in the comments.

TRIGUN MAXIMUM VOLUME 07 JAPANESE - Scans.

It's time for Trigun Maximum Vol 7 in the original Japanese version! This means it's the dialogue as written by Yasuhiro Nightow. We've only done cleaning work to remove any damage done to the pages through wear and tear, literally, and then some minor editing for chapter and page numbering.

This is also the quality you can expect from the 2.0 translation release, as this is what we will refer to as 2.0 in terms of the scans. We hope you enjoy the scans and their resolutions, and as always, everyone's free to make edits and art with our scans as long as they leave credit.

Please do not publicly share this post on X (Twitter), instead share it with people through private accounts or in DMs. We hope to stay a little bit under the radar with the non-transformative releases to avoid attention. If we believe trouble might be brewing, we'll be deleting the post again, so remember to save the files if you can so you have them forever.

You are free to make any translation you like using our scans with the appropriate credits, as any fan project is a good project.

We are already working on our own Spanish translation that will officially be tied to the Overhaul project, but it won't be entirely done until after the English 2.0 translation is also done.

We obviously hold no rights to who can make what with Trigun content, so if you wish to take a crack as a Spanish translation, then we look forward to seeing what you come up with using our scans.

We intend to reupload our April Fools posts on our site, but we haven't done yet. We'll make sure to make a posts on here whenever we do, to let people know the posts have been updated.

TRIGUN ULTIMATE OVERHAUL AUGUST 2024 UPDATE

OVERHAUL UPDATE 08/02/24 - A bit of work burn-out.

Hey there, everyone, and welcome back to another monthly update!

We're aware that we missed making an update last month, and once we realized, we simply accepted it was going to be our Lost July joke for that month.

The work hiatus has continued, even if a little bit of work is done here and there whenever energy to do it is found. With the extra breathing room for work, it has become more clear for me, the main cleaner and project lead, that I'm dealing with some level of burn-out. Motivation has been hard to find, even if the will to work is there.

Changes are coming in the future that might help with energy levels and motivation, but there will potentially be a long recovery process for me personally, as I've been dealing with severe stress for over a year now. It's not related to Overhaul work, but instead private life related things.

We will attempt to stick to a set schedule for releases, but uploads will potentially become more sporadic in the future, as one month might have more motivation than another. The volumes are also becoming more and more intricate and harder to do cleaning work on, so it also takes longer to finish the gradually increasing amount of double page spreads.

In that vein:

The Japanese volume releases will restart September 2nd and hopefully remain monthly from there.

If it doesn't become possible to upload once a month, then the schedule will be changed to once every second month.

Quick notice about next month's release!

We'll once again delay the release of TriMax vol 7 until next month.

We're sorry this surprise break is happening in the middle of a release schedule, but it suddenly became very apparent that it was required. We hope to be back to posting next month!

The small break from cleaning work has been very beneficial for myself, as the cleaner, and the team as well. We've been working on this project non-stop for five years and only had half a year hiatus in that time period, so a break has been greatly needed.

We'll still be engaging with our blog and answer any questions you might have.
