My Oc In The RoTMNT Fairy AU: Human Version!

So I found this AU and the more I saw it, the more I loved it and quickly I really wanted to draw art of this AU. People have asked if they could draw their oc in the AU as well and the creator said yes so here we are!

To be frank, I have no idea if I want my oc to be a human or a fairy. I'm gonna wait until the story is bit more fleshed out, but for now, here's the human version!

For the human version of story, Zariya is probably April's neighbor who somehow discovered the fact that April is friends with fairies and agrees to keep it a secret

Unlike April, Zariya doesn't have The Gift, so she cannot understand what the turtle fairies are saying, she can only hear bells ringing. Though I imagine since the turtles are so used to talking to April, they probably sometimes forget that Zariya can't really understand them, but usually she can get a vague idea on what's going on based on their body language

Sadly I had no idea what to draw for Raph and Leo, but I imagine the boys would get along with Zariya since April is mostly cool with her. Except Donnie

Also, no I have no idea if Donnie is actually able to extend his neck like that in this AU, it's just a silly thing I decided to draw because I know it's something soft-shelled turtles are able to do

So yeah! Hopefully I did Mikey and Donnie justice!

there is something horrifically grim to it, but illustrations for gaza and palestinians tend to catch more mass attention that actual photos of people. this made me feel incredibly helpless for a long while, seeing both how people would rather look at a neat drawing of red black green and white than look a human in the eyes, and how online platforms would rather push a viral drawing while suppressing those begging for help at the same time.

a way to cope with this feeling has been taking advantage of it to directly guide people to helping palestinians.

if art gets better traction, then there’s an incredible amount of good that can be done by creating art that immediately links to fundraisers. creating art of the many images of those who are asking for help.

within hours of posting my drawing, there has been jumps in the thousands for bashar from gaza’s fundraiser. it’s a small effort in the grand scheme of things. it’s not a fix it. but it’s something good. please take care of each other and do what you can. i think this could help a lot of people if a lot of people did it.
