I'm also an artist on TikTok and Instagram, I mainly work with digital, watercolour and stippling. I try my best to separate my work between platforms but book content manages to filter through to all of them.

So it's been 4 weeks since updating my voting registration and my deed poll hasn't been sent back to me yet. I'm terrified the absolute worst has happened.
So the council don't have it. I spoke with the manager and they told me they posted the doc back basically the day of updating my details. So it's either still in the local Royal Mail sorting office or the Royal Mail fucked up so royally it's been lost in the post and I'll have to make a new deed poll to complete the process.

I...tried to make a meme and got carried away and made A Thing that is like partially unfinished because i spent like 3 hours on it and then got tired.
I think this is mostly scientifically accurate but truth be told, there seems to be relatively little research on succession in regards to lawns specifically (as opposed to like, pastures). I am not exaggerating how bad they are for biodiversity though—recent research has referred to them as "ecological deserts."

I've come to a point in the editing of my Theory chapter where I'm double checking my citations and seeing if I can do any better, find better resources, making sure I didn't do the source dirty ect.. And I'm stuck waiting for a new order of books to arrive and there's other stuff to do but it feels like I physically can't do anything else until then.

Changing your name legally is a big mess for chronic anxiety.
You're either waiting for weeks gripped with nightmares that your deed poll is gonna be denied or defaced or lost in the post, or you're paranoid over the weird looks from strangers in the reception area because they assume you're married while looking no older than 16.
I only have one more section of my theory chapter to edit, but at this point i'm not sure if it's worth keeping.
It's my cats in context page and while I do like parts of what i've written I really half-assed other bits that I know will be a pain to re-do.
I definitely need to take a trip to the library soon, hopefully they have some resources but my local has an abysmal non-fiction section so I'm not counting on it.
time to take everything out of my room and put it all back in a slightly different order
