Hello! My name is Crest and I write fanfiction, most of which centers around Sonic the Hedgehog! This space is meant for me to update my stuff and keep connected with people from the community.

Imagine being a normal-ass parent whose kid is on Cream’s little league team.

And you and the other parents have a whole text chain trying to work if there’s a polite way to ask Vanilla if that one borderline homeless crocodile is still actively trying to impress her.

Because he is so good with the kids and he did get them to the finals last year.

Also sometimes a ninja is there.

P.S. Apparently Eggman has a kid now and is signed up to coach HER team???

Nothing too fancy. It’s just the drawings that are not based on anything from outside, like official art or other fanarts, don’t get noticed compared to the former. Redraws are of my most appreciated posts too. And the few times I actually tried to design something, it was met with so fewer people supporting it, mostly just to be kind. And I understand, as my designs still suck lol

I’m trying to get better though! Line-art, colors and element placement is fine for now, so I just need to study things that I fail so much at (comics, animation and design)

And people have been mostly too kind to me, so I’m not saying this to be spiteful or ungrateful. Plus the Sonic community is one of the most vibrant, creative and talented communities I have ever seen, need just to keep up with it!

I think this is really important because it encapsulates what a lot of artists struggle with: Finding an audience that reacts to ideas born of their own mind versus what they’ve built for themselves through fan communities.

Vector: Since Charmy spotted ‘im they’re gonna ask him to testify.

Charmy: What’s that mean?

Espio: It’s simple. You’ll be asked to sit and tell some people exactly what happened the night we busted Sham.

Charmy: That’s it?

Vector: Yeah. You sit, swear in, and-

Vector: What?

Charmy: (Gestures like he’s driving) This dicking guy.

This has been sitting in my gallery for sometime now, but I figured as I finish up the rest of the commissions, I'll post it now to show what I've been cooking for the past few weeks haha! I've been in a very Greek mood lately (thanks to both Hades 2 & Epic the Musical hehe) So I figured on top of the pirate AU I've designed, I'll start an Odyssey-inspired one! For now, here's Sonic as Odysseus and Amy as Penelope :)

I genuinely believe Lila’s work on the pirate AU is masterful and that she represents the highest level of ability when it comes to fleshing out and breathing life into an AU with images alone. (If you want to see brilliance in a Sonic AU realized as a comic, see @starrjoy
