Terrible week is over. I have an appointment at last with a surgeon. I celebrated by lovingly painting Gortits
#defira draws#I've gone back and forth on the colouring of the gold pieces a dozen times#I started with white highlights and currently am preferring the overlay mode to give it the yellow burn#but i might go back to an orange underlayer with the white#anyway I drew tits#that saying about how nothing makes you better at drawing than being a pervert about something is correct

This is incredibly petty and pointless bitching about family stuff but I'm stressed and exhausted and it's making me miserable so I need to vent
So anyone who's followed me for more than 5 minutes knows I like to bake, yeah? Has seen my posts of my elaborate christmas cookie boxes or the multi-tier cakes I bake or the extravagance of my choc cherry brownie loaf and so on? Feeding people is important to me! I won't say it's my love language cause whatshisface was a weirdo christian fundamentalist so we don't believe in love languages but you know. I like to nourish! I want to cook people a big meal and have them feel loved and indulged!

at 23 I have become old. I hate new technology. I hate apps. I hate facial recognition. what happened to emails? just send me emails. I don't want to download your app, make and account, add you to my password manager, enable two factor authentication, and verify my identity through sending a photo of my id and recording a video of my face just so I can access information that could just be emailed to me
all of that for what? so you can spy on me a little bit more? so you can sell me as a product? there is no benefit to me of any of this bullshit. I hate the future

Tea did such an amazing job with Kassara, I burst into tears yesterday when I saw her, and I cannot recommend their art highly enough. It genuinely was such a pleasure💜

i need to catch up on lectures but what if I learned how to use blender and practiced the piano and read entirely-unrelated-to-my-studies papers and started reading a new book and learned how to crochet and took a long bath and booked a spontaneous trip and learned how to dance and went to the 24hr gym and became really good at chess and
no multi option, agonize and choose, no results option, pick one to find out or scroll onward
the number of y'all in the notes mentioning how good the choices are/how hard it is to choose got me preening like "i am going to get a good grade in neurodivergent/disabled, a thing that is both normal to want and possible to achieve 😌"
#I read these out to mr defira and he immediately said brush and I've never been more glad I married him#I also picked the brush#washing my hair is exhausting and time consuming and then I have to take 40 minutes to dry it#genuinely sometimes I go weeks without washing my hair because it's just so much to deal with#anyway we shook hands in solidarity

I am eventually planning on writing more! There were a lot of scenes that got cut out of the story, to save on time or because I felt they didn't fit the tone of the rest of the fic, and I'll eventually get around to compiling them all into a fic or a collection. And that's not including all the other ideas I have for them outside of the big fic. I love Kass and Gortash too much not to go back to them

Tragically disappointed that the capsule in Stardew Valley doesn't hatch a blue space cow.
#oh my god#do you know how much less terrifying that capsule would be if it was just space cow#the first time I ever got the capsule was on a multiplayer with angelicfangirl#and we screamed and built a fucking fort knox worth of fences and concrete and lights around it#it still escaped#nightmarish#stardew valley
