William's Blog

@william2669 / william2669.tumblr.com

He/Him/His Ace. Salutations everyone. My username is William2669 (Feel free to call me Will) I'm from Belgium at the current age of 31. This blog is more of a sort of mod blog where I reblog stuff I like and sometimes a short story if I feel the inspiration flowing. Hope you'll enjoy your stay!

In Israeli news one of the ministers of settlement is accused by her daughter of sexually abusing and raping her. Not only that but apparently it's a cultist ritual where multiple girls across "israel" are tied up and raped with a rabbi leading the whole thing. Literally nightmare situation.

The israeli settlement minister got famous a few months ago because of how incredibly racist she was but she doesn't limit her violence to Palestinians but also her own daughter.

I feel like people have forgotten about this

Stage-Toph: “I see everything that you see, except I don’t ‘see’ like you do. I release a sonic wave from my mouth.” *elongated scream* “There! I got a pretty good look at you.”

but the LOOK on Toph’s FACE it is the best thing E V E R R R

#there is no way in hell I could ever forget about this who do you take me for

Okay but I also love this scene because the way this play was written and cast tells us two really important (and hilarious) things about the way people (specifically people in the Fire Nation) perceive Toph-

1. Although they know she’s blind, no one actually has any idea how her seismic sense works

2. No one who’s fought her is willing to admit they got their ass beat by a 12-year-old girl who doesn’t clear five feet and weighs 95 pounds soaking wet.

atla heritage post

decided to put these in a bit of a chronological order as i can’t help but form a story behind the scenes. it’s a storyteller’s habit. and yeah i do have an idea i would genuinely like to explore with gail simone as a crossover comic.

i don’t want to be the writer for this. but at the same time i always found diving into these things and exploring the character chemistry was the best way to get an artistic feeling for it.

this is also how i usually develop my own stories.

anyhow, while many think this is me drawing some shipping, in fact this a proof of concept for an adventure story  featuring lara and diana. Gail simone at some point asked if they would kiss and i gave it some genuine thought. i am a character first kind of a writer, myself, so i contemplated this. then i decided, yes, probably.

after all, romantic subplots have been the bread and butter of adventure writing since its inception and i always liked that aspect of adventure stories.

i hope this puts some things in context from my end XD

and while there will probably be a few more of these, there will be no nsfw pics. after all, camera pans away from indiana jones in those moments as well  XD

okay… there may be a chance of a kiss… but that’s about it.  (edit, i added the rest of them here along with the antagonist)

just resharing cause i compiled the remaining few pics into this post as well

asbestos-free cornflakes

I actually know this one!

There's a traditional coconut farming technique in Thailand where they send monkeys into the trees to pick the coconuts. This is like a traditional centuries old thing that doesn't hurt the monkeys at all. Since Thailand is in asia, animal rights groups have been focusing on it the last few years as some kind of issue even though if a monkey doesn't want to do something there's nothing you can really do to make it do that because it's a monkey.

Nonetheless racist "animal rights" groups go around discussing it as though it's slavery or a labour rights issue. Personally I think they're being paid by people who get coconuts some other way but I can't prove anything.

Anyway, it's basically MSG again in that it catches on because of anti-asian stereotyping and none of the allegations are true or really even make sense when you look at them. Animal labour in agriculture is really well-established. That's where we get the term "horsepower". Because horses were doing the. The power. But there are no monkeys in Europe so Europeans didn't do that so it's an evil rights issue.

We domesticate animals and use them for labour. Big if true.

Beep boop! I look for accidental haiku posts. Sometimes I mess up.

Like. As far as I can tell the monkeys in question are macaques, which... Yeah you're not getting a macaque, the monkey known primarily for attacking humans, to do anything it doesn't want to do, especially through violence. They use violence to establish dominance and that's a battle the macaque will always win. This npr article says every couple of trees the monkeys get inspected for ants and a little massage, and every other link in the search I did was from PETA, so. Yeah pretty sure the monkeys are fine.
