I release. I release. I release.

I am releasing ALL the things in 2022.

The first release? I Love and Approve (of Myself)

From my Nairobi Chill Series with Kenyan pianist

and music producer @noelgrass Coming Soon!

There is an art to letting go of your art. My prayer

Is for courage and freedom right now. I will be

asking for your ears to listen and fingers to support

by sharing.

There were so many stumbling blocks to get to this

point. I’ll spare you the details because we are futuristically

walking in faith toward the manifestation of our destinies.

If you are with me, comment below!  Yes! Amen! Let’s Go!

OR I love and approve of myself..

Happy Valentine’s Day yall!

Love yourself. Approve of yourself. Accept yourself.

Honor yourself.

Be here now. Be right in this moment - not focused on the past or the future but right now. Be right here. Don’t waste time. Love yourself by being present. Love the people in your life by being present. Give the gift of full presence. We are spreading love beyond holidays.

“Keeping the internet open is critical for us. It powers social movements, and provides a global platform for people of color, LGBTQ folks and the most marginalized communities to tell their own stories, run their own businesses and route around powerful gatekeepers.”—Candace Clement, Free Press Action Fund Campaign Director via @fight4future

Starting today, June 11, U.S. internet providers will be legally allowed to censor and block websites and apps, and force you to pay extra fees to to access your favorite places online. Your internet sanctuaries, the communities you are part of, the ones you have help build up, could be decimated.

Will it happen today? No. Next week? Probably not. The changes will not be swift. They will come piece by piece. A slow, tempered death to the free and open internet we love.

It doesn’t have to be this way. You can still make a difference, Tumblr. We need the House of Representatives to sign a discharge petition in support of the Congressional Review Act that would force a vote on the floor.

Contact your reps—let them know you support net neutrality.

It’s so easy. Just go to BattleForTheNet.com, fill out the form, and follow their directions from there.

They have an updated widget for you to throw on your websites to urge others to make a difference. You can put it on your Tumblr. Let your followers know what you stand for, encourage them to do the same. It’s so easy to do. Just copy and paste their small line of code right into the customize theme page on the web.

Go, go, go, go. We know you have that passion in you. We’re fighting right alongside you.

5 Things that Keep us Stuck in Life

1. Believing negative, unproductive and self-defeating thoughts. These include thoughts like “I could never … I’m not good enough to … I don’t deserve to … I’m useless at …”

2. Blaming others. It’s true that other people can have a huge affect on what happens to us, and where we are in life. But we give them too much power if we let them set our course, and see ourselves as victims, and act like we’ve no power.

3. Taking ourselves too seriously. It’s important to work hard and to have integrity – but we also have to laugh and enjoy ourselves as well. Also, decide to let things go, and put up with some mistakes. You’re not a perfect person and, the truth is - that’s OK!

4. Being afraid to take some risks or to live close to the edge. To have an interesting life you must leave your comfort zone and say “yes” to some new chances and opportunities. It will broaden your perspective, reduce anxiety, and provide you with new options and possibilities.

5. Being afraid of change. It doesn’t take much effort to stick with what you know. The unknown can seem daunting as we don’t know where that leads! But we grow as individuals and lead a richer life if we learn to accept changes, instead of being scared.

“Today’s revolutionaries need to reimagine what revolution means • The best way to make a change on institutional issues in our modern world is to reimagine ourselves • We need to see young people as the solution and not part of the problems • reimagining education means relating to our children in a more human way • the arts and artists play a crucial role in transforming their communities and their world • cultural change precedes political change” #GraceLeeBoggs gems // #reimagineeducation #digitalcollage #revolution #evolution (at Leimert Park, Los Angeles)
