Specifically the hemospectrum typing.#Mo Xuanyu is a yellow blood by the way. Passing this knowledge on In the same tone as the grandpa from princess bride.#Wei Ying is but a bright spark in the lives of a longer living trolls.#WWX living within highblood society (especially being raised with the sea-dwelling Jiang's) is essential for me.#I need to feel an oppressive sadness whenever I think of the MDZS homestuck AU.#If there are people who truly want me to - I *will* draw a timeskip version as well.#I was in the middle of finishing up the next comic when I saw the clock strike midnight and it was something possessed me.#The ghost of my homestuck past? Who knows. I drew this with a passion that would have made 2013 me very proud.#I hope this also appeases anyone else who had their homestuck ghost awoken today.

When she was a kitten (about 1kg) she stole 2kgs of meat, dragged it under a sofa so she could eat it. We literally accused my dad of first leaving it in the shops and second, that he imagined buy the meat 🤣 She later stole my mum's necklace when she went for a shower- her wedding rings were threaded through it as well. Also my mum's gold watch, and a container with gold earrings in it.

When she drinks water it sprinkles up onto her nose and leaves her with fashionable sparkles, or if I give her kisses without realising, a little sip of water that she shares with me 😆

She is currently living with my parents bc I work insane shift hours and she would be very lonely.... no one thinks about how lonely I might be!! I miss her a lot 😢

Authentic to the point it was hard to listen to.#This moment is where the illusion of control breaks. The price of hubris has been paid in blood.#Because truly! What *was* it all for? He has given so much up – to what end?#The sheer despair of the situation breaks him like nothing else has to this point.#No torture or loss has hurt him as badly as hurting the person he cares about most deeply in this world.#He is devastated to have hurt Jiang Yanli through the death of her husband – yes.#But this grief is also the realization that he’s gone and lost her too. Lost his nephew as well.#How do you move on? How do you even begin to repair this fracture you’ve created?#All he has is the Wen Remnants now. And the hope that even if they never speak again – JYL will live.#The pain of losing something that was core to your identity – be it family or occupation or ability…It hurts so deeply.#In those moments…the death of that future makes it nearly impossible to see yourself having any future at all.#To continue in this world…one needs to have an anchor.#Wei Wuxian has just realized he is adrift as sea without anything to root him in place.#The wind is still blowing. The crew are looking to their captain. And we know how this goes. We know how the ship sinks.#This was always going to be a tragedy.

And what a treat this one was!#I love drawing silly cats and I love drawing wizards!!! The perfect drawing assignment!#Cats really do have a terrible power to negate the threat level of important tasks with their cuddles.#You may have important things to do. But the cat just sat on your lap and started to purr. The task is now lower priority.#Perhaps all cats are secretly warlocks cursed into compact form. They attempt to cast charm person on us and we let it happen.#They have fairly weak attack spells against humans (unless it lands a crit and then you're in trouble) so they specialized in charisma.#There's no way they are using INT as a spell casting modifier. DEX imaybe.#I could draw cat wizards all day - this is a dangerous rabbit hole for me to go down.#If you have a particularly wizardly cat...Please....please show them to me.

Finally caught up with Apothecary Diaries. I can't believe they gave Maomao a gun.

#the apothecary diaries #maomao #jinshi #I started watching back from the beginning and oh man...this series is a delight.#Maomao is one of my favourite protagonists for the fact she is a unique mystery lover who also loves to stay in her own lane.#She's here to solve the 'how' of the mystery but the who? Not her problem and not her job.#No crazy leaps in logic. Just a girl who loves her posions and puzzles.#I want to say so much more about this series but It really is best enjoyed as something to discover on your own! It's a mystery after all!#I want to draw some crossover art for this series so badly...Perhaps...perhaps...#This dehydration story comes from my own life - in which my flatmates have a running bit about calling sport drinks 'potions'.#This was very relevant when I was suffering from dehydration (low sodium intake + over drinking lead to a very bad time).#That's right. You can dehydrate via drinking too much water. Low sodium and low potassium can make you very ill as well.#Sometimes what you need is someone aggressively reminding you to add salt to your dishes and drink your goddamn potion.

Oh! What a great question!

I will usually script out comics for a whole episode and then draw them before listening to the next one. This means I'm usually an episode or two ahead of the comics I am posting!

Yes, this does make me officially the slowest audio drama listener. Luckily I *have* seen other adaptations, and I have a few cheat sheets for upcoming plot points so I can properly foreshadow scenes.

#ask #The audio drama is great and while it might just be recency bias - it is my favourite version of MDZS.#I enjoy the voice acting and sound effects -*and* I am a big fan of radio/audio dramas as a medium so I am *biased*.#I think it is pretty faithful to the source and I like the changes it does make.#I used to listen/script in larger batches (3-4 episodes at once) but my comic uploads are slower these days.#Keeping it to a smaller amount means I can have fresher analysis thoughts too!#I still go back and listen to the episode if it's been while.#The scripting process is fun but I often have too many ideas! At least 2-4 comics get cut per episode.#I also have stopped doing most of the extras - though I still listen to them B*)#Apologies if I skipped a scene you were looking forward to! I'm trying very hard to finish season 3 before the end of the year.

Just wanted to take a moment and say thank you for all the kind words and positive response to this video B*)

I know it is very much a parody, and I intended to make viewers laugh, but this was a huge feat for me. Animation once seemed like an impossible thing for me to learn - and while this is more of an animatic, I am looking forward to trying again!

May this silly video both brighten your day, and be evidence that yes, you *can* make that animatic that's been in your head for years into reality.

#gratitude #You can also draw a guy pregnant and then redraw it with him holding a baby. Art leaves one with truly limitless potential.#Jokes aside; I am feeling extraordinarily sappy and proud with how this turned out.#I initially thought I could do it in a week but...well the learning curve was steep.#This particular parody video has been on my mind since the near beginning of PD-MDZS!#Initially as 'oh I wish I could do X' then as 'that is far enough in the future I may be good enough to do it.'#Honestly I don't think I'm 'good enough' to do it. I just did it anyways. There are a lot of flaws and things to work on still.#I want to make more animatics and animations! It was me working very hard on this video!#This wasn't initially planned to be the April Fools gag for this year but the timing worked out well B*)#I know it is lies and pranks day but I mean it so sincerely when I say I am genuinely proud of this.#I...I made an animatic. Like a full animatic...if you showed this to Fer of 3 years ago they would have exploded.#Yes there is a lot of 'jank'. Yes the lip sync is horrendously off 80% of the time. No matter. I made this. That is worth something.#And I learned a lot! The initially learning curve was steep but I think I got the hang of it!#Happy April Fools. The gag appears to be 'PD-MDZS in a new format' and honestly? Why not. This is the official tradition now.

#poorly drawn mdzs #mdzs #wei wuxian #wen qing #wen ning #animation #This was another fun experiment that I learned a lot from B*)#I think that stargazing was something WWX probably took for granted in his first life.#Namely that - despite seeming like the carefree type - he probably didn't have the patience for it.#Why look at the sky when there are so many other things to do at night? It's not like the stars are going anywhere after all.#And when he's in yiling...well he has far to much to do inside his cave or on night hunts to look up at the boring dots.#He's a moon guy - but only so far as 'is the moon phase bright enough to read under tonight? is is dark enough to sneak around?'#It's probably only after the end of untangling the web of secrets and murders in his second life -#-that he realizes the beauty in just...taking a moment and taking in the sky with someone by your side.#Luckily for him the high altitude and cold air of a certain cloud recess makes for excellent start gazing conditions.#Wen Qing would be in the know on what the constellations are. Almost entirely because Wen Ning kept asking her.#As an older sibling you can A) Lie or B) Delve deep into research to claim your throne of 'the knower'.#I have knowledge about many things because I craved being 'the knower' as a youth. Now I don't know anything ever.

His passion for theatrics and storytelling is something to behold.#He's one of my favourite characters in severance. Antagonist perhaps but he's also so much more human than he first appears.#There is a guy underneath the professional mask who has a creative passion that his 9-5 turned 24/7 crushed!#Get him out of the (corporate) basement and put him into the (game room) basement!#That aside; this was supposed to be a little doodle to take a break from my animation project. No doubt he's written more technically impressive songs #but we only know him for the dramatic ballad he wrote when he was 17.#Actually I think he still holds it a little more dear to his heart than Thom Yorke does Creep.#I change my mind. Wangxian is his Never Going To Give You Up. A popular song that overshadows the rest of his work.#But only to us. In universe he *never* played that song to anyone else.#Which is exactly why I call it his teen heartbreak song. If wangxian had lyrics they would look like a teen emo's diary poetry.#That shit would be so embarrassing he *would* need 15 years between writing it and reading it out loud again.

It's something that I've been thinking about While the answer has been strong 'maybe', there *is* a future where there will be some kind of physical version of my art - be it in stickers, a zine, prints, charms, or otherwise.

Personally, if PD-MDZS the comic was to be released physically, I would want to throw in some exclusive bonus comics/goodies to go with it! Please stay tuned!
