Super excited to finally post this, here's my piece for the @medicalgradezine! All of our wonderful women medics across multiple continues come together to study a very gory tech setup. Inspired by “The Anatomy Lesson of Dr. Nicolaes Tulp” I hope everyone likes it!
All Medics have words to say to unruly patients :3c
Piece done for @medicalgradezine

Little cursors I made for Pharma. Originally made for the Pharma server but I figured I'd share here too

Hi! 4, 5, 7, 15 and 37 for the questions for fic writers ask game with Elegant Chaos, Inelegant Solutions as the referenced fanfiction in two of these questions, please
4. What detail in "Elegant Chaos, Inelegant Solutions" are you really proud of?
Have my entire list, since I can’t pick a favorite:
5. What do you wish someone would ask you about ECIS? Answer it now!
7. Any worldbuilding you’re particularly proud of?
A lot of my favorite worldbuilding details aren’t ready for the public eye, but one thing I will share is, in Constellations, I’ve established Kaon as the dominant world power at some point in Cybertron’s history. This adds a new dimension to the usual Decepticon-Autobot conflict of the “current” age.
15. What’s your favorite AU that you’ve written?
Constellations of Cybertron, of course. However, a lot has changed for the AU and for me, so I’ve put things on hold until I figure out how I want to proceed.
37. Promote one of your own “deep cut” fics (an underrated one, or one that never got as much traction as you think it deserves!). What do you like about it?
It’s my newest and shortest story, and despite being only 408 words, it’s my favorite fic I’ve written so far. I don’t expect it to do numbers, but that’s okay since it’s more important to me that it lights a fire in me. Writing it felt natural in a way I haven’t felt in a long time, and it plays to my strengths as a writer.
For the writer's ask game:
4. What detail in [insert fic] are you really proud of?
23. What’s a trope, AU, or concept you’ve never written, but would like to?
25. What other websites or resources do you use most often when you write?

A detail I’m really proud of in Death of the Phoenix, Return of the Wolf is Soundwave only referring to Optimus as “Orion.” On the surface, this may seem nothing more than a petty insult or passive aggressive way of expressing displeasure and disagreement with Optimus’ status as a Prime, but because that kind of thing feels shallow and predictable to me, I go a step further:
A couple of the most significant things about canon Soundwave’s character are his stated disregard for superstition and myth due to knowing "how the minds of sentient beings worked," and his implied ability—whether by telepathy or finding hidden information—to see beyond people’s façades and the personas and narratives they hide behind. Therefore, one of the most interesting aspects of Soundwave and Optimus’ dynamic in my AU is that, where many struggle to see Optimus as more than a symbol or figure surrounded by myth and superstition, Soundwave is able to glimpse beyond the symbol of Optimus at the personhood of Orion—hence the refusal to call him “Optimus.”
Had the civilization of Cybertronians grown and developed past the Matrix of Leadership? Was a fragment of a long-broken mythical sword really worth pursuing and handing to a chosen leader as if it made a difference to that leader’s quality? Soundwave was not superstitious. He never had put much stock in the old stories of Cybertron, in the Primes’ (the Thirteen’s) legendary actions and that sort of thing. He knew how the minds of sentient beings worked. He had spent his existence thus far finding things out about Cybertronians that they didn’t want anyone to find out. If you did that for a while, very quickly you lost whatever superstitious leanings you might have had. (from 'Transformers: Exodus' by Alexander C. Irvine)

It took me so long to think of something I’d be willing to share: I don’t have any solid plans for this yet, but I think it would be interesting to explore Pharma as a double agent.
