Punch-Out!! Comic Project

oh my god we did it. it took like 6+ months but just in time for the 15th anniversary of the release of Punch-Out!! for the Wii, we created our own comic panels inspired by the original ones released alongside the game! a labour of love and extreme hyper-fixation lmao! please read them all because they're absolutely fantastic! and here are all the artists responsible <3 <3

Piston Hondo headcanons cus why not :P!

• Piston has two siblings, he's the middle child. His younger brother is some high school delinquent who is a part of a biker gang while his older sister is a successful pro wrestler.

• His father owns a restaurant that's still running to this day, while his mother is a housewife.

• He LOVES food. He doesn't want to admit it but he has a huge appetite, Especially towards salty and spicy foods.

• He still runs that steakhouse you see on the Punch out Wii commercial, he often seeks advice from his father on how to manage it.

• He likes to help people, he willfully sponsors organizations that help those in need (like poverty) and donate money to orphanages and local hospitals.

• If he ever has a partner, his love language would be acts of service :)

• He has a bit of a temper, not really as bad when he was younger or when he was new to managing a restaurant. But he gets irritated easily, especially when he's showing some sign of weakness or when there is something bothering him.

• Absolutely loves vintage and classic Anime and Manga, He loves Sailor moon and its franchise. His favorite artist is Rumiko, his favorite works are Ranma 1/2 and Urusei Yatsura (projecting rn KKsksm)
