Smoking jacket sketches
Gonna slowly start introducing this project here, just through doodles like this at first. These are sketches for an ongoing personal project of mine called “Echo Pictures.” It’s a series of little stories about some silent film comedians. Matty here is one of the lead characters, I’ve been doodling him on and off for like five years and I wanna give him a proper home.
Starting to think about artfight again. Last year I did a drawing every day of the month and it was a lotta work, I might participate this year but focus only on revenge and not set that kinda quota so I don’t spend the whole month on it exclusively.

Thanks so much for the interest! I don’t currently have commissions open as I’m a full time student at a rather intense school, so I don’t have a lotta extra time on my hands right now.
However! I’ll be on my summer break as of the first week of may, and I plan on opening commissions then! I’m going to have a lotta really economic options and some more complicated stuff available then.

You’ve inspired me to try doing some things for another Anthony Perkins film that’s not quite so well known but still good (to me anyways!) Thank you for that too and just for being splendid anyway!

I must apologize for how long it’s gonna be between installments- the first post took over 30 hours and I’ve just not had that kind of time at my disposal now that I’m back at school full time.
I hope to get back at it soon, but if anyone’s interested I may start sharing some work from my current academic undertaking despite how incredibly off brand it may be- just to have something to share to fill the gap.
