Your feelings with "of the devil" made me revisit a game that made me feel the same. Transistor. I played it in an intense session in college, stayed up all night to finish it. It was 6 am and i cried so much when it was over.. I decided to revisit it to see if those feelings are still there, 10 years or more later.. I didnt make it past the first five minutes without crying. its all still there. Every single drop of love..
Fascinating. I played that game recently and didn't really get it. As someone who studied game dynamics and player experience, I'm very interested in what causes a person to react to a particular game. I wonder if it's a difference in our personal histories, or the things we struggle with? Our artistic sensibilities? Ahhh. It's so interesting
