what sort of dessert do you think Barry and Cisco would have at their wedding reception (or, if you don't think they'd marry, maybe what would they serve at a housewarming/moving in together party?) :)
i feel like this answer is going to be disappointing and i'm not good with these kinds of things.
i don't really see them having a big wedding, with tons of guests, curators, a caterer and anything of the traditional kind. i know, as per canon and when in het relationships, they seem to like the tradition of the wedding and the ceremony and so on, and, okay, but i don't think it'd be the same if it's the two of them together. i can't really explain it and it's probably me projecting.
i think they'd get married at City Hall, something quick and still not like what happened in the Crisis on Earth-X disaster of a crossover, more them, looking pretty for the occasion, and the people they love, the families and family they made for themselves.
all of this leads to the reception which would basically be just dinner and a party at Joe's and it's probably mainly because he insists after being a little put out that no traditional wedding happened. Joe is a bit old-fashioned like that and he has to accept that his kids are not at all, especially Barry being with Cisco.
so the dessert would be Joe's choice and his amazing baking that is just as amazing as his cooking. i have no idea what he would make though, i'm sorry, but not anything as obnoxious as Dante's birthday cake, that one is for sure, and also, Barry and Cisco would want candy. tons and tons of candy and they'd totally mix those with the cake, like littered all over the plate and some more to eat even after the cake.
