I probably should have started doing this forever ago but I wasn’t sure how long I was gonna stick with drawing these comics. But I guess we’re in it now! This will be continually updated~ EVERYTHING UNDER THE CUT
I didn't realize that was you on Game Changer until I saw a post that said "She gave the cereal box Jesse Eyelashes" and I just thought "Wait no way, that's her??"

I like to think that Arbok's hood patterns are influenced by their environment. When they evolve, they can take on the markings of their parent, or maybe they take after the trainer who raised them (who may or may not have an intimidating look to them)

Now that I've posted my most recent comic, I can post this lineup for Delia's team that I made months ago (same time i made the jessie and james dream teams).I probably won't have her actually catch these in the comics, save for Kangaskhan and Clefairy, but these just felt very her

My Dream Teams for Jessie and James (not including pokemon they've already had)
You can probably tell which one's which lol. I also wanna draw them with these teams at some point but team drawings take fking forever haha
Got a couple questions asking why I picked the Pokémon I did!
JESSIE:
- Cubone- I want Jessie to have a Cubone so bad. Given Jessie's backstory of losing her mother at a very young age and growing up to follow in her footsteps by joining Team Rocket, and Cubone's Pokédex entry, I feel like this is a good match! Cubone would remind Jessie of her younger self
- Venomoth- Jessie's shown a preference for Bug and Poison Types in the past. I feel like Venomoth would remind her of Dustox.
- Salazzle- It's wild to me that Jessie never had a Fire Type. And a Fire/Poison Type felt very fitting! Also just look at it, that has "Jessie" written all over.
- Sandaconda- Jessie should be allowed to have every snake Pokémon. Add it to the list with Arbok and Seviper!
- Scolipede- Another Bug/Poison Type! I feel like her just having a big ol' bug would be really fun. Plus it aesthetically looks good with her, having similar color schemes.
- Froslass- Another reference to her missing mother, Miyamoto. Miyamoto disappeared in a snowy mountain during a Team Rocket mission. Froslass' Pokédex entries say that they are said to be "women who get lost in an icy mountain and are reborn". I'm not saying Froslass is Jessie's mom but like...
JAMES:
- Phantump- Phantump's Pokédex entry reminds me of James' backstory. They're said to be the spirits of lost children and James, was a runaway.
- Roselia- James' thing is roses, Roselia's thing is roses. That's it hahaha. It just feels like a Pokémon he definitely should have had at some point
- Polteageist- I imagine James was a fancy tea boy in his younger days and could appreciate tea as well as antique tea pots as a collector.
- Scovillain- Having two chomping heads for James to worry about is funny to me. Plus he seems to gravitate to Grass Types!
- Hatterene- James having the vibe check Pokémon seems fitting. I like to imagine it being a happy Hatterene though. One that gets overly excited when James feels anything.
- Arboliva- It's just such a pretty Pokémon that I think James would take a liking to as a Grass Type fan

Leaning towards Chikorita, Sprigatito and maybe Litten because she loved Ash's so much in Sun and Moon

in my head delia's attracted to high femmes with sharp features so im thinking like dianthe, tulip or fantina
the novel mentions her having dreams of being an idol/model so i have this idea that delia, who was more or less forced to stay in the very, small pallet town, would OBSESS over supermodels in magazines and tv. she would find them very pretty and that has stuck with her into adulthood

I think Misty likes Delia a lot and and they both keep in touch but I don't think she sees Delia as a mom. I doooo however think Misty spends more time with Lorelei and starts to see her as a maternal figure. Lorelei takes Misty in as a mentee and they both grow closer
