I made Gumby from a really old object file that I downloaded a really long time ago that I may have gotten at renderosity, but don't quote me on that.
this unchangeable sims 3 username has haunted me for so long... do you know how embarrassing it was to be 10 years old and lose my password? EA would only deal with password changes for this service over the phone, so i had to sit there with my mother as the guy asked "and what was the account name?"

I made these back in, what, March? and don't know why I haven't shared them yet? This is a shoeswap of @lraerosesims' Lilithia Harness Outfit with Yuxi's Serenity boots for AF and the 6 bodyshapes I use (CPU, Vol Gal, Ren Gal, Dummy Thicc, Momma Lisa, & Trans Momma Lisa).
The original mesh is the GLS fishtail gown, it wasn't difficult to work with so I figured why not do ALL the shapes. There are 5 recolors - L'Rae's original 4, plus a blue one (for Laegrinna, of course).
They have all morphs and a choice of Maxis hands (2635 polys) or smooth hands (4443 polys). All recolors pull textures from the required "textures" file and are BSOK'd (with non-BSOK'd option for AF).

I mentioned before that @furbyq and I have been collaborating on projects. We share the same niche taste in CC and my dream of defaulting everything in that style is a massive undertaking. So we've decided to team up on my default project, in addition to any new hairs we retexture! Thus, Dark Side Furby!
Yes, I know I just changed my hair palette (although I only announced it on Dreamwidth), but the one we've decided on is almost the same, just with changes.
As my own retextures have been, both of us will be using Io's edit of Pooklet's V3 textures for straight hair. For old meshes with wonky mapping I usually use Pooklet's original.
Not sure if anyone else out there might have a use for these, but we're doing it anyway, no reason not to share 🤷

Back on New Year's Eve 2023, I was suddenly inspired to make formal gowns for my Deception IV sims for a New Year's party. So I went into a frenzy of converting some for their bodyshapes that took 2 days and gave me a massive eye strain headache. But it was worth it, even though I didn't have my gameplay hood set up yet I got some memorable pictures and expanded the project. Some are based on VERY old meshes and textures, which although in the spirit of commemorating 20 years of TS2, probably aren't to everyone's taste😅 But they're my taste, and a lot of love, as well as blood,sweat, and tears, went into them.
Without further ado, here's my first CC upload as Dark Side Princess, to celebrate 20 years of TS2 and coincidentially also 10 years since the release of Deception IV: Blood Ties! (Not the same day. That'd be too much of a coincidence.)
Sims 2 is the home you can always come back to when you need it. ♥
