Carrying over from my earlier post on Tears of the Kingdom, here’s my chiptune remix of the Sky Island theme. I released it two days after the game first cam out, having had the song stuck in my head since I first heard it. It’s a true labor of love from me - I spent about an hour paused in one place so that I’d get the music down. Hope you enjoy!
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom was released a year ago today. It’s a celebratory day for me. I also got my M.A. on the same day, and out of the blue my mom got me ToTK as a gift. I’ve never gotten to play a game on its release day, much less a Zelda game! I was struck pretty much immediately by the magnificent-sounding Sky Island music. It let me know that the TotK soundtrack would be magnificent. I wasn’t wrong.
Listening to songs to pick my next subject indefinitely delayed. Just putting hours in on listening to this song on repeat instead:
