Replies are open! Go for it!

I don't know when I'll actually fully fill this out, but I plan on recording at least some of them for B-roll for a video I want to do talking about Drawing inspiration from living artists, as well as tips to spot AI generated images & the problems with uncritically drawing your inspiration entirely from AI or using it as "reference" (this is a polite way to refer to insta accounts that just 1:1 copy AIGC with traditional media and then pass it off as their own original artwork that's been 'referenced' from Pinterest.)

I also want to discuss some of my thoughts on how AI could actually be useful if it was geared towards actually helping artists instead of replacing them, but how I don't know if that'll ever come to fruition in a world that revolves around corporate profit and worker exploitation.

So a bonus prompt is when you request a character (I will also accept professional wrestlers), feel free to suggest an art movement, master artist (I use that term loosely to refer to any significant professional artist, designer, or animator), or specific artist that has drawn them if it's a character from a comic or game. (example: [character] but inspired by the work of Richard Scarry; example: [character] but art nouveau)

Falloutober day 2 - Neon

Mama Louise Mulligan and her companion neon-legged black-crowned night heron Chickpea

Louise is the elder of Mulligans, the closest neighbor family (only 8 hours by foot! Easy!). She was already 86 when the bombs fell and she ghoulified. But nothing could break her; she remained a cheerful and active woman. She doesn't see very well and always calls Gage “my pretty boy”, which causes  a lot of giggles from the others. Oddly surprising, they got along well (despite the fact that he is wary of ghouls) and spent a lot of time talking.

Night herons were common in Massachusetts prewar, but now only few remain. Chickpea is a very rare type with neon colored cyan feet. She follows Mama Louise everywhere, but remains calm and silent.

My trade for @tachyradio! Goris decided to travel a bit and got some friends where they eventually got to snack on some tarberries at the Slog. Thought it would be a fun piece to do :)

I joked about this in the tags of another post, but I don't think it's mentioned enough that the first two Fallout titles deliberately used stylized stop motion puppets to depict their characters!!

You may think "Oh maybe that was just easier at the time than making them realistic" but NO!! Tons of games used real life FMV footage in the exact same way Fallout used its stylized puppets!

It's also part of why the OG fallout models still look way better than any of the modern ones!

The original Fallout creators deliberately wanted all their mutants and ghouls to look like fucked up claymation dudes and the more the series strays from that the worse off it will be!

buffy summers really is the most character ever. she averted the apocalypse multiple times. she came back from the dead twice. she fought dracula and won. her first impulse when someone said they thought she was just a myth was to tell them "you were myth-taken." she led a workers' uprising while wielding a hammer and sickle. she couldn't fucking drive. she killed a demon with a rocket launcher stolen from the us military. she was really into figure skating. once she fucked so hard that the building she was in collapsed. she got a job slinging burgers. and she was even bisexual

It’s a running joke between Cam and I that to keep up his “fame”, Hancock casually stabs someone every time a new wastelander arrives to Goodneighbor. Whoever he can find near the gate. It doesn’t matter. The idea was originally inspired by this and I guess you can take it as a continuation of Stabbin’ Stature.
