This will be my final missive. I have read a lot of rationalisation about Tumblr's AI deals and... yes, sure, most of our content has not doubt been fed into the AI menace anyway. But there is still a huge difference between having your data stolen for immoral use, and selling your users' data for immoral use.

I'm not deleting this blog (yet), as there is material contained within I wish to save, and I want to keep the option of keeping in touch with some of you wonderful people using this website. (Plus maybe I still irrationally hope that Tumblr would come around and say "no, sorry this AI deal was a stupid idea, we absolutely won't do it"). I am, however, combing through the blog and deleting all my original content (and a bunch of other stuff too).

I really love the community on this website. But in the long series of the various owners mistreating the userbase, the AI deal was the final straw for me. This is a deeply immoral act and I cannot in good conscience keep using this website.

feedback form is found through the following dismal little labyrinth: on desktop/browser, on the right side of dashboard "Help" -> upper right "contact support" -> "choose support category" -> feedback! On mobile: primary blog settings -> down on to the Account -section -> Help (this shit tosses you into a browser version..) -> menu on upper left -> contact support. Recommendation based on personal experience: before sending, copy your message... the form sometimes get stuck on loading after sending and thus doesn't actually send because, you know, tumblr :D
