Footage of the last Heath Hen (Tympanuchus cupido cupido) "Booming Bob" from around 1932. The species was hunted by both people and feral cats to extinction. Their range used to extend from southern New Hampshire to coastal Virginia. By the end, it was just a tiny population on Martha's Vineyard.

I've never seen this footage of Booming Ben! How incredible. Ben is part of my Endlings Pin collection:

They were incredible little birds that basically went extinct for being too delicious...

It's Moxy! You remember Moxy, right? The first original Cartoon Network character with the first original Cartoon Network show? Voiced by Bobcat Goldthwait? Featuring cutting-edge mo-cap computer animation? He had a sidekick flea named Flea that was voiced by Penn Jillette? Anybody? Moxy? Anybody?

What do you mean most of the show is now lost media why would Cartoon Network do that.

Fresno Nightcrawler campfire mugs! Perfect for when you're out cryptid hunting and you need a sturdy mug to hold your coffee while you stay awake all night hunting little guys!

These mugs are made out of steel and painted with a sturdy coat of enamel to hold up to any drops and dings they might receive while you're running for your life away from the creatures you intentionally went out to try to find.

This book is the the culmination of over a year of work (not counting the 5+ years it took for me to actually draw it!) and I could not be happier with how it turned out! It's the biggest book I've ever made, clocking in at over 250 pages! There's a bunch of material in the back that's not available online, like sketches, a character guide, and story notes! Wowee!

My submission for the Pete and Pete Zine! It’s not too late to submit stuff yourself! Get to it, blowholes!

Nona was always my favorite Pete and Pete character and the one I identified with the most when I was just a little viking.

This drawing is from 2012 but I wanted to reblog it in honor of Michelle Trachtenberg's passing today. I did a color version of it and never posted it here for whatever reason. RIP in peace, Nona, I thought you were just the coolest kid in the world when I was also a kid.

My two spreads for Almost Real Volume 5: MYTHOLOGY! You KNOW I had to do an entry for sphinxes!

This is a combination of the work I've done for Skin Deep sphinxes as well as its own thing set in a world where mythical creatures are known but still largely a mystery to science. I leaned hard into the Zoobooks aesthetic for this, one of my favorite parts of those magazines were the anatomy drawings so I wanted to do one just like it!
