From the river to the sea is not a call for the genocide for Jews actually - it's about the reclamation of Palestinians' stolen and colonised land and there's nothing in the Torah that supports or advocates for a native homeland for Jews - and even if it did, Israelis don't get to commit atrocities to maintain a settler colony under constant violence, terror, and apartheid against Palestinians

This is not a religious conflict. This is settler colonialism and Israel is a terrorist settler colony that deserves to be abolished in favour of a one-state Palestine where people of all faiths can live with equal rights and Palestinians ousted and dispossessed from their homes in the name of Zionism's dream ethnostate get to go back home as they always have deserved to

If you use this atrocity to advance your Islamophobia or antisemitism - saying Arabs deserve it or Jews can't be trusted - fuck the fuck off. You're a bigoted piece of shit

If you disagree with my points in general about Israel being a bloody settler colony - and you know of the 1914 Balfour Declaration, the British Mandate regarding Palestine, Plan Dalet published by Israel in 1948, and the 1948 Nakba - then fuck right off. You're a genocide apologist and I want less than nothing to do with you

Israel's ongoing attacks on Gaza have killed over 34,000 Palestinians, with millions trapped in Rafah as Tel Aviv remains determined to storm the city - "with or without a truce."

This isn't the first time Israel has committed war crimes against Palestinians.

this is going to sound like such a little sibling ass take but i genuinely believe that being a little bit annoying is actually a greater sign of maturity and self awareness than being universally likeable and on good terms with everyone

if some people find me annoying and can't stand me because of how i think and act then that means i'm a fully realized human being with my own personality and opinions and free will and not just a reflective surface for other people's desires, which is in fact a good thing despite what people who want you to just be a reflection of their own opinions and desires will tell you, and why being considered "cringe" or whatever doesn't bother me at all

also it's really funny when you're confident enough in yourself to know that people not liking you isn't always a sign that you're the problem. like there's something undeniably hilarious about being aware your mere existence has the power to piss someone off and ruin their day and i recommend embracing it.

the right hairstyle for your face is the one that makes you smile when you see yourself in the mirror btw.

this applies to clothing as well!!! being happy and comfortable with yourself is ALWAYS more important than adhering to some stupid made up rules about body types. shave your head. wear the crop top.

Charles III: Don't paint my hands or face red, I don't want people to think I've got blood on them.

Painter: Of course, your majesty.

I can't even process how they did this. It's covered in rough and scattered paintstrokes. It's detailed to a pintip. It's all symbolic. It's a king's portrait. The slight red tint to his hands and face obscured by the red that soaks the painting. The lighting looking like it's filtered through leaves. A monarch butterfly above his shoulder. I don't yet know the artist but god they deserve a museum if this is their work.

The artist is Jonathan Yeo, who is a world-famous portraitist.

He first got famous in 2007 when he made an unauthorized portrait of then US president George W. Bush made out of porn magazine clippings

“fish don’t even know theyre wet” and? you don’t even know youre luft (air equivalent of wet)

This is a really good example of how we can just make up words that work. “Luft” is a perfect word for this it feels correct and we understand and can feel it.

Like it would’ve necessarily work with other words but “luft” is a combination of sounds that means luft (air equivalent of wet).

Thank you but the reason it works is because it is a deliberately chosen word!

The closest word we have in English for ‘wet but with air’ would be ‘aerated’, which is the past principle of the verb ‘aerate’. As a multi syllable Latin derived word, aerated wouldn’t feel equivalent to wet even if you just used it as an adjective in a sentence- so to have something that feels like ‘wet’ I looked for a monosyllabic air-related word with a German root.

As many have pointed out in the notes, ‘Luft’ means air in a lot of languages, because it comes from the proto-Germanic word ‘luftuz’. It’s also used in English as a chess term, and is a doublet of ‘loft’. Because it’s rare in conversational English but has the right etymology to evoke the idea of air and the texture of ‘wet’, it is very easily appropriated for the concept of ‘air equivalent of wet’.

Who killed him? How did he die?

He was tortured to death. I want everybody to imagine the strength it takes to endure weeks of painful torture (that include electric shocks) and not make the false confession the zionists tried to get to justify their hospital massacres.

He endured the pain to protect his people

A young boy in Deir Al Balah details his experience of having his hearing aid device broken by the occupation forces. He recounts the events of being forcibly displaced to Deir Al Balah with his mother. He was tripped, made to take his clothes off in a room before being sent to Deir Al Balah with a broken hearing aid. After losing the ability to talk with his siblings and uncles, his mother taped his hearing aid back, which she describes as an event that gave life back to him.
