now that we're several months removed from it I would just like to say how much s3 of bridgerton let me down because like. it was supremely well acted by both leads and they clearly love their characters and the story but it felt like the production...didn't? idk I just felt like in 3b those intimacy scenes were staged and shot so apologetically like "oh god we're showing a plus-size person being hot and sexy sorry we're so sorry" and they simply didn't have to act so sorry?

bc nicola and luke newtown sure as fuck weren't sorry

#idk if i'm articulating this well#but there was this obfuscating apologetic tone to the blocking and the shooting that i did not feel when they were shooting daphne or kate#and then the convoluted whistledown plot didn't help#but i will keep reblogging polin gifsets because i love gif makers and they let me enjoy the blorbos without the let down of rewatching s3
