Lydia "It's alright."

Ashton "It feels so, doesn't it? Our girls can manage on their own."

Amelia "-oh! Pink is my favorite color! And red is Ellie's..."

Daphne "I know it's silly. I just thought there would be something to look at and remember that there's still three of us... even when we're apart."

Amelia "Aww! That's so sweet."

Daphne "Mmh... I'll miss you."

Amelia "I'm going to come back. I promise!!"

Elise "-I'm not jealous, I'm sad. I-I thought we always tell each other everything."

Amelia "I'm really really really sorry! It, um, just felt hard to tell you. But I should've."

Elise "I... I'm a little sorry, too. For yelling."

Amelia "If I forgive you, will you forgive me?"

Elise "...Okay. But I want to hear about Tristan! W-when you're there."

Amelia "Oh, I know! What if I get a camera? I could take pictures from the university for you. So you could see it, too...?"

Daphne "Mom's pancake recipe doesn't seem too hard. Do you want some too, Ellie?"

Elise "Um... I changed my mind. I don't feel like eating."

Amelia "I don't know, they look like chocolate pancakes. If I don't breathe, I can almost imagine them being those."

Daphne "Good for you, Amy."

Elise "Ew, Hunt. Your drool is like glue!" No matter what Daph says, Amy should've told me. But... ugh, it's so like Amy. She speaks when she's not supposed to and doesn't say a thing when she should...

Esther "-just checking in. Remember how I said you can call anytime?"

Elise "...Y-yes. Sorry."

Esther "But you must've been busy. I heard you have a TV blog, now!"

Elise "Um. You did..?"

Esther "The editor happens to be a close friend of mine. Mark my words, you will be a proper cultural correspondent in no time."

Elise "But... I-I like writing a TV blog."

Esther "That kind of attitude gets you nowhere, Elise. Never give up on pushing forward! You could be writing reviews of grand concerts instead of silly TV series."

Elise "I-I don't know anything about music..."

Uh, at least Amy's easier to understand than Tristan's mom. I think she tries to be nice, but... I'm glad Tristan isn't like her at all.

Daphne "Ellie... you can't spend the whole night here."

Elise "She always makes a weird face when I mention Tristan. Or pretends she doesn't even hear me!"

Amelia "But they also wrote that I should, um, be there when the semester starts, or it doesn't count. And it starts next Monday!! So.. w-what I-I'm supposed to do??"

Daphne "Well, uh, you should start by telling mom and dad and Ellie?"

Amelia "Okay. I'll tell Ellie as soon as she comes from work."

Daphne "Amy... she has a day off."

Elise "What are you talking about...?"

The Load Order Myth

There's a persistent myth in this community that mod conflicts can be solved by making the mods load in the right order.

However: This is only true if the mod creator has made them compatible. It might be true if two mods just happen to do the same thing, but that's very rare.

How mod conflicts work:

No matter in which order these mods load, the sim will always do either thing, not the combination of both.

So the mod that loads first will stop working.

Making these compatible is only possible by making a new mod:

Depending on how complicated mods we're talking about, making compatible versions can be just as worksome than making a completely new mod.

So if the creator doesn't want to use both of the mods themselves, chances are they aren't interested in making yet another mod.

TL;DR: whenever creators say "these will work together if my mod loads after", they've intentionally made it that way (and will likely tell about it in the post).

Hi! Yes, delete the trait mod and use the version of the towel mod that does a similar thing for inappropriate sims if you want :)

In general, when two mods conflict, it means the one that loads last overrides the functionality of the first one. So unless the mods have been purposefully modified to do the same thing, the other usually stops working.

Daphne "...She wants to be exclusive?"

Sara "I don't know. We haven't had that talk, yet. It's pretty new! But... I guess I wish she wants to be."

Daphne "You're blushing!"

Daphne "Sure. Like, uh, we can just drop the kissing part."

Sara "Man, I was so nervous about this. Phew. You're the best, Daph."

Daphne "Is this private enough?"

Sara "It's cool. Uh, sorry. It sounded like I'm going to slip a state secret, didn't it?"

Daphne "...Kinda. What is it?"

Sara "Sooo I've sort of started to see somebody. Like, you know. Romantically and intimately."

Daphne "Well, um... we're not really together."

Sara "I know, but it didn't feel right to not tell you! I mean, you must see others too- "

Daphne "No, uh... I've got other things in my mind."

Sara "Oh, that's cool, too!!"

Daphne "We could go out sometime, though."

Sara "Err. About that..."

Elise "Amy! They, um, t-they thought it was a good idea..."

Amelia "You got it??"

Elise "Yes!!"

Amelia "That's so cool!! Let's go tell Daph, too!"

Amelia "-but, oh! Maybe you could ask if they'd need another? Then you and Ellie could work together."

Daphne "Uh, I don't like series that much. No offense, Ellie."

Elise "It's my job to like them, not yours!"

Daphne "-we have enough for you too, if you want."

Sara "Awesom—err. Hey, Amy."

Amelia "...Um. Hi, Sara!"

Daphne "Good luck!"

Elise *exhales* "Thanks..."

Amelia "-but, um, I'm happy that you haven't told Ellie."

Daphne "Don't worry, Amy. I won't."

Daphne "But you should tell her yourself."

Amelia "Mmm. I will! If it happens. Maybe it doesn't!"

Daphne If Ellie gets the job and Amy goes to uni, what am I supposed to do? I thought we would figure out something together...

*sigh* I guess Ellie's just waiting to start a life with Tristan, anyway. And Amy's always done what we've done because it's easy for her. But, still... it feels so weird to think of anything without them.
