πŸ”† PINNED!

howdy! we're Matthew, and we're the Leo System! (he/him or plural they)

we're an autistic plural artist that bounces between different fandoms and projects at breakneck speeds! we do our best to tag everything + bio has our current focus (when we remember)

we draw furries, get emotional about robots / clones / characters discovering their identity, write stories about aliens and runaway science experiments, try to find ways to explain any of our OCs in a way that doesn't take 10 paragraphs and 29 diagrams, and love weird obscure stuff

we are: β˜† 25+, white midwest usamerican, very neurodivergent β˜† aroace and collectively masculine, individually complicated β˜† a polyfragmented system (and support endogenic systems!) β˜† nonhuman (otherkin + fictionkin + system identity stuff) β˜† πŸ’• jorb's boyfriend and πŸŒ™ solar's super ultra blestie plus β˜† socially awkward + bad at responding to our inbox

Enough of the trope where memory loss undoes the damage or the corruption or whatever. More content where removing memories just removes the context.

The tragedy of needing to grieve and not knowing what or who you lost or why. The angst of having trauma and being denied the awareness that it's trauma. The suspense of being different somehow and left to wonder how and when. The tension of knowing that something is off and you can't find where it hurts. The Adventure Zone gets it. Kingdom Hearts gets it.

There is an aching inside you and you don't know how it got there.

a weird thing is that we got waves of people going "who cares if its cringe or youre annoying! have fun!" but no one really learned how to accept the fact that some people will find you annoying or think your art or your work or posts or anyrhing sucks and thats ok. rather it just became a weird "if people think youre annoying theyre just morally bad. let people enjoy things!". like no i think this yes man only biome sucks and people are allowed to not like artstyles and shows and media and other things

if youre an artist, a creator, or just someone whos involved in hobbies: learning that no matter what you do, some people will find you annoying is extremely important for your mental health, just as learning that not liking things is normal and youre allowed to do it

as people have mentioned in the tags, i think this yes-man attitude leads more people to make up random moral reasons to dislike things. if disliking something for no reason is bad, then you have to constantly justify yourself as to why this thing sucks, which is also not mature and sucks

adventure time is great. there's just a whole episode dedicated to making a loving tribute to the work of legendary animator james baxter. in which he is portrayed as a horse riding a big ball

one of those "a bunch of random characters in one house" crossover comics that slowly turns out to be about fictives in a system

tails from sonic wondering how his sister, mae from night in the woods, is doing while one of the author's fursonas and gargomon from digimon try to get bandetto from lapfox to stop playing minecraft
