UPDATE: Jisung is officially Wanna One’s leader and I’m so proud! I think people underestimate how hard the job of a leader is simply because they aren’t given the same spotlight as say the main vocalist or the visual. It involves so much patience and understanding, especially with bigger groups. Leaders are the pillars of the group because they hold all the members up and lead them to be the best they can be. Being a leader can also be emotionally taxing because you are basically the parental figure to some really young members and you aren’t allowed to show weakness because that bring down the morale of the group.

Yoon Jisung will be a great leader because he has all of these qualities and so much more. Honestly every time I see him he is always taking care of the members and making sure they are ok. He is often overshadowed by the other members but he doesn’t let it get to. In fact he will always be the first one to put the spotlight on other members because he truly cares about them and wants them to do well. The moment Wanna One’s line up was announced I knew that there would be no other choice for the leader than Jisung and I’m so freaking happy that he’s the leader. I wish him all the luck in the world for trying to handle those 10 ridiculous boys for the next 1.5 years. We all know he will be an amazing leader
