This is the guy who washes my moto. I don’t know his name, but that’s not terribly necessary here in Cambodia. Still, he’s very friendly, even recently remarking that he hadn’t seen me for a while. I explained that we’d been in American visiting family.
Every week or two, I take the motorcycle to his family’s little hole-in-the-wall moto washing shop. They have hydraulic lifts that attach to the center stand and elevate each moto a foot or so off the ground. This way they can get at the front tire easily, then pivot the moto forward so the back end is up in the air and they can then wash that tire, as well. They scrub the moto down very thoroughly and then dry it off, including blowing out the gauges with compressed air. Total cost: $.75, but I give them a buck and tell them I don’t need change.
